Loved the cabin and the screened porch. It was a little close to the main highway so did hear traffic noise

This place was excellent. Our hosts hand-built this log cabin, and while it has so many great features, our favorite feature was the (completely) screened-in porch that allowed us to sit outside, and enjoy our morning coffee & evening wine without getting bit by mosquitos. I don't know of anywhere else in the Fairbanks area that provides a mosquito-free outdoor experience. Even the screen-room's tall wall was great because it blocked the setting sun from hitting our eyes.Also, our hosts were super-nice and very fast to respond to any messages. Everything was as described (no surprises), and even though it's near the road, we didn't hear any car noise when the doors and double-pained windows were closed. We wouldn't stay anywhere else when visiting the Fairbanks area.

Perfect location, close enough to drive to everything easily! The listing did show that laundry facilities were on site, but they were not. A laundromat is in town though.

It was a nice place with no surprises

The cabin was great, clean and neat and easy to find. Host was great to communicate with. The second bed is in an upstairs loft so our teen got a bit of space to himself. It was open so you can see/hear both rooms at all times if you have younger kids who want to play up there. That does mean if you want to stay up later than your kids upstairs, it is pretty hard to do unless they are really hard sleepers as they will hear you downstairs and the lights will also be visible.

This place was absolutely wonderful, great space. Very well laid out, comfortable, and safe. Saw a few reviews about its proximity to the highway. This is not a concern. The road noise is minimal. The host was exceptionally friendly and easy to deal with.

Beautiful and quaint cabin out of the city area, perfect for a little family retreat. The garden was just adorable and such a fun addition! Highly recommend this property for your Fairbanks retreat!

We really enjoyed the cabin. It was very nicely decorated. Very clean and well stocked. It was right off a main road, but it didn’t bother us. It was a great location and very convenient to everything that we wanted to do.
