Stayed Aug 24, 2021Loved my stay at the bakery. Miki is definitely a super host. Very friendly and accommodating. My place was very clean. The bed and linens super comfy. I had everything I needed. Would definitely recommend.

Stayed Jul 26, 2019We could not make reservation due to ferry service shutdown. Owner refunded our fee on short notice. Will stay at this facility next time in Haines due to integrity of owner. Todd

Stayed Nov 7, 2025We stayed here for the 2025 Bald Eagle Festival. We were able to walk everywhere we needed to go from the place including grocery stores and restaurants. We had everything we needed in the unit for our stay. The power went out in town for quite a while one day and Miki sent someone over with an extra flashlight - that was very nice.

Stayed May 29, 2021Miki runs an excellent operation which includes the rental and her restaurant. She was very friendly and helpful. We ate at the restaurant several times and were never disappointed. We would stay again.

Stayed Jun 1, 2019The new studio apartments which are attached to the Chilkat Bakery are great! Everything inside is well designed and comfortable for a great experience. It is walk-able distance to downtown, located within a minute walk of the main grocery store. Miki, the owner is very friendly and a great host. Added bonus -- being attached to a bakery means great food right next door to the apartment!
