Perfect and cozy for a solo traveler and the kitchen and laundry and coffee maker were perfect as well! Would definitely stay again!

Such a cute little apartment, but I do stress the little even for just the 2 of us. Well decorated with a comfortable bed and the tallest shower I've ever seen. Jack & Leslie were friendly and did everything they could to make our stay pleasant. It's a nice quiet location not far from town. We really enjoyed walking around the farmhouse-style community.

It was a very cute and well provisioned carriage house. It had everything you’d need. It was in a perfect location to get around town. Our hosts were very kind and attentive. It made for a very nice weekend.

These accommodations are perfect for couples looking for a private getaway in Bluffton. Perfect amount of space. It's located perfectly as a jump off point to HHI and Savannah Georgia. We really enjoyed our five nights here and will definitely return

Jack was incredibly responsive from the time that I booked throughout my stay. The property is well maintained and the decor is lovely. As a solo traveler, it felt very safe. The location can't be beat - walkable to the many shops and restaurants in town. Highly recommend.

I had a great stay at this beautifully appointed carriage house. The neighborhood was quiet and charming, and the carriage house is an easy walk to Bluffton’s shops and restaurants. The host was welcoming and friendly, and the communication as to check in was perfect. I would absolutely stay here on my next visit!

This was a very nice location. It was very appealing. The decor was outstanding and well thought out. The hosts seem to have thought of everything. There was nothing that we needed. It was very clean and quite cozy. It was located within walking distance to Old Town. Our hosts were friendly and accommodating. It was comforting to have them on the property full time. They took a good deal of time putting together a binder full of pertinent information about themselves, the property, and points of interest including restaurants.

Great location for our cozy getaway. The Bluffton Birdhouse is located in a beautiful, walkable neighborhood. It was nice to have a stocked kitchen, washer/dryer and comfortable furniture, including the bed. Our host meet us upon check-in with a welcome to Bluffton 101. This is one to put on your revisit list.

Beautiful property just as pictured. The owner Jack met us at the cottage and introduced himself, very pleasant and was always available if we needed him. The cottage had everything we needed for our short stay. I would 10/10 recommend!

We were in the area for just a couple of nights, but this spot was the perfect respite after golf and sightseeing. I especially appreciated the coffee and creamer!

We have stayed here in the past and were just as happy this time. We arrived just before the big freeze. We found a welcoming and cozy spot to stay warm, and all of the local spots are just a short walk. The space was immaculately clean, and every detail was attended to. As a result of the storm, our flight was canceled and our hosts were kind enough to offer us a place to stay beyond our scheduled date of checkout. We braved the storm, though, and made it to the airport. We would highly recommend this lovely oasis! You will not be disappointed!Irene and Leo Hurley

This is a very nice compact place; it is well-equipped, attractively furnished and features energy efficient appliances. Construction felt solid, relatively new, and quiet. The stairs to the entrance felt steeper than many in our home region, but they are solid, with lights on the risers. The hosts provided just the right amount of hospitality. Thank you!

Jack did a great job in going thru the unit and explaining everything. Location was perfect easy walk to town. Only issue was the bedroom was a bit small but otherwise great stay.

We had a very pleasant stay in Bluffton’s Old Town while here for a wedding. We were welcomed warmly by Jack and Leslie, who were informative and helpful throughout our stay. Even the neighbors were wonderful! The “Bird House” was decorated with care and attention to every detail, and it had all of the provisions we needed. We would definitely rent this lovely place again!

Loved staying in this property. Owners are helpful and respectful. It is cute and homey but very clean, with everything you could need for your stay. I was in town for work, but sleeping up in pine trees with the windows open made my trip relaxing. Easy to walk to anything you’d need.

This VRBO was everything we could’ve hoped for and more. The location was 10 of 10. The owners were very respectful of privacy. Things like details to toilet paper and quality of sheets were extremely thoughtful. There was even fresh Seattle’s best coffee and a brand new container of half-and-half in the fridge for us to have coffee in the morning.. Can’t say enough good things about this little gem.

Clean, host had everything you need for a great stay and close to Old Town to walk to restaurants and shops

We werent necessarily coming to see Bluffton but found this place that we could easily get to Savannah and Hilton head which was our plan. However Bluffton turned into a great part of our trip. A very nice little town The place was comfortable and well stocked with essentials. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Communication throughout the process by Jack, the owner, was incredible considering I was having flight delays because of approaching Hurricane Helene, and arrive almost 1:00 a.m. The door was left unlocked, lights on, and easy to get settled. My wife and I stayed 4 nights and had a great time exploring and enjoying the Bluffton restaurant scene which is plentiful and most within walking distance of the Birdhouse. Bluffton is a beautiful community and Hilton Head beaches and shopping are a very short drive away. The apartment above the garage is clean, nicely decorated, quiet, and peaceful. Since we are building a home several miles away, we hope to make the Birdhouse a consistent base camp for visiting.

We really enjoyed our stay in The Birdhouse. It was small but way better than a hotel room!! It had everything we needed for our stay. Bluffton is a lovely town, we enjoyed walking to the local restaurants which did not disappoint. Our trip on the river resulted in a fabulous encounter with the dolphins. Highly recommend a trip to Blufton! Away from the hub bub of Hilton Head but close enough to enjoy the beaches.

Very good stay!

We had a wonderful 2-night stay at The Bird House. Jack and Leslie were warm and welcoming and the bird house is cozy, comfortable and the hosts have thought of everything. We walked to the river and for coffee one morning and to Old Town again for dinner last night. We look forward to return visits as we oversee the building of our home in Bluffton.
