Stayed Mar 7, 2025The home is ideal for a family gathering with the sound of waves lulling you to sleep and waking you each morning. The sunset every day and stars at night are amazing. The common areas are open to the pool and beach, so you are enjoying the setting constantly with shade and fans. Geraldine and Nick were very responsive owners. Flor and the staff at the house are helpful, friendly and great. There is a language barrier, but Flor is adept at relying on google translate. The food is excellent, better than what you can get in most nearby restaurants. A very relaxing and perfect family vacation..

Stayed Nov 23, 2024Spending 6 days here with five grandparents and our two teenagers was such a treat. The grandparents were a little less mobile, so we hardly left the property, but that was not a problem. Flor and the team made amazing food, the pool was blissful, the beach walks perfect, and the sunsets unforgettable. The rooms were gorgeous, and Nick was a great communicator. I hope to return someday!

Stayed Feb 29, 2024Amazing property, amazing staff, excellent communication! The host made sure we had everything set up ahead of time and proactively worked to address any potential issues or concerns we might have (we didn't have any issues, the spot was exceptional!). The staff made everything easy, the chef was great, and the experience a 10/10 - I would not hesitate recommending this place to someone looking for a house in Puerto Escondido.

Stayed Feb 18, 2023This house on this beach with this staff = paradise. The home itself is so well laid out that you have space and intimacy all at once. I cannot say enough about Flor and her team - they will attend to your every need and connect you with any experience you want. For activities to do- We had massages on our patio, went horseback riding, had a local yoga instructor provide us with yoga on the pool deck, we released baby turtles and even saw a group of dolphins swimming right up at the beach. We also had a great couple of meals in town with recommendations from the owner, Nick who is also so attentive and communicative. But honestly we rarely left the house it was just so good. We loved the opportunity to practice our Spanish, have warm and kind staff to converse with, and eat amazing Oaxacan food every day on site. We will definitely be back!

Stayed Oct 6, 2022We spent three days in Puerto Escondido as part of a longer trip to Oaxaca. Getting there was quite the adventure as the only convenient way in was on a tiny plane. The flight is 35 minutes and incredibly bumpy (pack Dramamine), but much better than a 7 hour drive any day. Once you arrive it is clear you will not need to leave for any reason. We did spend one day in the Playa Zicatela, which is an incredibly charming beach town. The house manager can schedule a taxi for you as the beach is not entirely walkable the whole way. The house has a beautiful open air plan and feels like a mini resort. All rooms but the bunk room face the ocean and the rooms offer a lot of privacy. We coordinated the meals with the house staff by day and time and they did all the shopping for us. For 3 days, with 3 meals a day, beer, mezcal and vodka we paid about 15,00 pesos, which is about $750, which for us was about $150 a person. You should plan to bring cash for this and many ATMs only give you 4,000 pesos at a time, so plan ahead. All the meals were amazing and prepared fresh daily and completely worth it. If you are worried the staff will be trying to do everything for you and make it awkward, it's not like that at all. Their presence is very much known, but they aren't standing by to do every little thing for you and really just keep to themselves. They speak no English, so a translation app is a must, unless one of your group is bilingual. Typically they stay only until around 4 PM, but will stay for dinner if you request it, which we did for all 3 nights. They leave around 9 PM and return in the morning. It was a very nice amenity to wake up to a clean kitchen and a fresh pot of coffee. This place is perfect if you want to relax and unwind and leave the everyday world behind. We were all able to work while we were there and cell service and WiFi worked just fine, but you will not want to do these things, as the location really lulls you into a state of relaxation and calm. The ocean is not suitable for swimming or surfing, but it provides very nice white noise to sleep to. The pool offers more than enough opportunity for swimming and you won't even miss the beach. It's not close to downtown (about 30 minutes by taxi) so if you want proximity to nightlife, this place is probably not ideal. However, if you want to relax, and unwind and watch some of the most beautiful sunsets and moonrises you have ever seen, this place is perfect.

Stayed Aug 7, 2022The house layout and staff hospitality (Flor and her team) were excellent. Super clean and spacious. Lots of private spaces/bedrooms and bathrooms. Pool is out of this world. We had lap swimmers and used the lap pool for workouts. This is a house for folks that don’t mind living “in nature”. So if you are a city person (some of us were), it might be buggy for you here (especially during rainy season). The beach is too rough to swim in but has great views and ocean waves. Lots of beaches are nearby. Recommend getting a rental car from Los Reyes Rental cars if you want to be mobile. Thanks for the excellent service.

Stayed Jul 31, 2022We celebrated my daughter’s 21st birthday with family and a few of her girlfriends. The house is simply gorgeous, in the middle of nature. The view is delightful. The pool was a wonderful spot to spend time at throughout the day. Nick did an excellent job providing information and ensuring our stay went smoothly. We cannot say enough about the level of service from Flor and Enrique and the rest of the team. The food was authentic and of really high quality. My daughter asked for Mole for her birthday and the girls liked it so much that they asked for the same dish for our last dinner before heading back home. We did not want to leave the property to eat anywhere else. It simply would have been a waste compared to the 5-star experience we had at Casa Constantia. This was truly a relaxing, intimate, luxurious and fun vacation. Enrique makes the best drinks and he was extremely helpful with every request we had. Flor is a superb chef! Comparable to any 5-star restaurant we have tried. It was wonderful to experience traditional and elevated Mexican cuisine. She also prepared French toast and bacon for those missing their American breakfast. Our family gives Nick, Casa Constantia and their staff 5 stars!
