Stayed Aug 5, 2023Wonderful stay in Arouca, a nice place in a nature reserve. You can do all kinds of things, such as canyoning or hiking. 45 minutes to Porto or an hour to Aveiro. The house is charming, cozy and spacious. The kitchen has no water, dishwasher or cooking facilities. Furthermore, fully equipped with refrigerator, coffee / tea and crockery. Host Pedro is extremely friendly and he helps you to make your stay enjoyable. Pedro is even happy to do the laundry for you. We have grown to love Pedro in a short time! In Arouca you can get delicious breakfasts very cheaply or have a nice dinner. So you don't need a kitchen at all. We thought it was a private house with a private pool, but there are several rooms for rent. No problem, because everyone is active during the day and you hardly meet each other. In short, we had a wonderful stay with our 3 young adult children.
