Stayed Jul 23, 2022Very large house and property and a nice pool. Staff was helpful. The beds are a bit uncomfortable and everything is quite old; it looks a bit Victorian. We had some issues with hot water but these were resolved. The first couple of days we could not use the pool because of weather changes. Fortunately, we were able to use it for the last days. The beach was further away than advertised, but this was communicated via email before arrival.

Stayed Jul 2, 2022We had a nice time as a large family in this house. The house is located, not in Ericeira, but in a sleepy village 30 minutes from Ericeira by foot. The village has a wonderful cafe/restaurant/small shop for your morning coffee, fresh bread, or rustic dinners - highly recommended! The house is large with 8 bedrooms (on of them you have to walk through another room.) The double beds are old, quite small and very hard. A new set of beds would have raised the comfort of the stay considerably! There are four toilets all together in the house - this was a pleasant surprise from the ad. There are two kitchens - one detached on the ground floor. This was great for preparing large family dinners. The kitchen is equipped a bit randomly, however we succeeded to make what we planned to make. There is also a great barbecue place in the garden. The pool area is great! We would have loved some pillows for the sun beds and more outside chairs and tables! And a shaded area in the main sitting area would have been great! We had a lovely stay all together, despite some critical points in the review. The host was very kind and helpful and we loved visiting the nice little town of Ericeira! Obgrigado!
