Stayed Jul 6, 2025The house had tons of space—perfect for our large family. The kitchen was well-equipped with great storage, and the backyard and fireplace were fantastic touches. We especially appreciated the stack of firewood ready for us. The property is dog-friendly, which we loved, and the yard is big enough for pets and kids to play comfortably. Check-in was easy—they even let us in 20 minutes early. We liked the keyless entry, garage access, and a large driveway that fit two SUVs, a truck, and a small car without any issues. Inside, there were plenty of towels, and checkout was simple—just start the dishwasher and take out the trash. As first-time VRBO users, the lack of a long cleaning list was a huge plus.However, a few things to note: The water pressure is poor, especially in the master bath. The well pump seems too small for the house’s size (I have a well too). Also, we noticed signs of septic/plumbing venting issues, though it didn’t directly affect us. The “5th bedroom” is actually a converted study with a pull-out sofa bed—uncomfortable and lacking privacy due to glass-paneled doors. Upstairs ceiling fan randomly turn on at night, likely due to a dimmer switch issue, but tower fans were available and worked well. The basement is under renovation, not a problem, just a heads-up.Also, after booking, you’ll need to complete a second rental app with a license upload and credit card deposit of 500. No issues with the return, but it was an extra administrative step worth noting.
