Description

Relax and unwind at our 200 year old historic homestead, which was once an actual schoolhouse. Many renovations, including updated bathrooms, offer all the comforts of home.

We are just a mile from the Jay Covered Bridge, 15 minutes to Whiteface Mt. & less than 30 minutes to Lake Placid.

There are two fireplaces, a Smart TV, an outdoor firepit, fenced in yard, a babbling brook (hence our name) & 33 acres to explore.

3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, sunroom, laundryroom, deck and porch are all available for guests enjoyment. The sunroom leads to the deck, that boasts gorgeous mountain views. The master bedroom with a King, is located on the main level.
We do have a futon upstairs for additional guest sleeping.

We love dogs and our outdoor space and fenced in yard are ideal for your furry friend to travel along.

What a great, historical building, complete with the old school bell! Lovely, quiet setting with front and back porches. Spacious rooms. Loved the sun room. Loved watching the birds, deer, and chipmunks in the backyard, overlooking the stream and meadow. Perfect property for the full ADK experience!

very nice for 2 couples....coffee was there but no creamer. home was very nice in low traffic area. Nice grounds with small stream and fire pit in back yard.

This house is super cozy, clean, well equipped, and its location is just 15 minutes to Whiteface Mountain and 30 minutes to Lake Placid. Love also the fenced garden for dogs.
