This is a fantastic property. The house was clean and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. The surrounding area was beautiful. My kids loved the animals and bamboo forest.

Peaceful and quiet. Removed from any hustle and bustle, but close enough to Scottsboro to be convenient. Small local grocers are within 15 minutes and a Walmart super center around 30 minutes away. Michael is a wonderful host and came to check on us when we checked in to be sure we had everything we needed. We were here for a fishing tournament And this was within 20 to 30 minutes of our launches. The pond on the property allowed us a relaxing place to fish in the evenings. There are individual air conditioning units in each bedroom and the Livingsto living room that worked well. We loved showing our grandson the animals. All in all it was a very relaxing trip

We couldn't get access to the code key. Mike came over and helped us out. He was great. They also had gifts under the tree for us. Above and beyond. The place was beautiful.

The kids enjoyed the animals, woods, and field, and the adults loved the quiet country setting. Beds were comfortable.

Everything you need.

Coming from a large city with hopes of moving to the country…this cute property was EXACTLY what we expected. Just as someone else mentioned in their review there is an old house smell but honestly after the first few hours I didn’t even notice it. The house was exceptionally clean. The beds were absolutely incredible…best sleep I’ve gotten in a while. The fishing was out of this world!! Coming from Colorado where lakes and ponds are over fishing’s and you’re lucky to get a guppy hooked….here we caught dozens of bass in the few days we tried. Mike and Marlene, thank you again for the hospitality! And thank your for the fresh eggs, they were delicious. We certainly hope to stay at your place again!

Great place to relax

We loved staying at your place. That's the biggest mattress I've slept on.. what size is it?

Wanted a place that was secluded and out in the country….and that’s just what we got. We didn’t have a lot of time to really spend here but it sure was a relaxing stay. Just in case you were wondering about the Internet….its very fast. I had some work to upload and what takes me 45 MINUTES to upload at home, I was able to upload in about 60 SECONDS there. Faster uploads made for more relaxing time! I know most people coming here isn’t looking for fast Internet, but in case you need to bring some work with you, he won’t have any problems downloading or uploading. We may have to come here again when we have a little more time to stay and the weather is a bit cooler.

We were in town for our son's wedding and we found the perfect place to stay! Our experience was absolutely amazing! The house was so clean and inviting! We had plenty of room and communication was excellent! Thanks for the sweet getaway!!!
