We rented both this house as well as the larger house on this property, and this was ideal for accommodating a very large group. The host was very helpful and responsive. I'd definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay at this house that is tucked in the hills near vineyards but still close enough to downtown Paso Robles. The house comfortably accommodated our party of 6.

As soon as you drive through the gates you know this place is special. You drive past seemingly endless vineyards and tranquil ranches and farmland before you arrive at the beautiful, secluded house at the top of the hill. When we arrived we were pleasantly greeted by a bottle of the area's finest Rose. We had to grab a couple glasses and admire the golden sunset from the veranda. From up on the hill you can see for miles and miles and take in all the beautiful surroundings of the Paso Robles wine country. This was a truly beautiful and magical stay and we hope to book here again on our next trip.

The property is located a short drive from Paso, with beautiful views and fresh open air. We saw elk wandering the hillside just behind the house as we left. The accommodations themselves are nice as well. Definitely a worthwhile open to check out if planning a trip to Paso.

The pictures don’t do it justice. There’s a little fenced backyard that overlooks rolling hills. It’s perfectly cool in the mornings to sit out front and drank coffee and play cards. The kitchen is amazing. There was no dish soap and the propane ran out while we were BBQing, but other than that it was perfect for our trip. Thank you, Matt!!

This was perfect location for a weekend with friends. It’s in a great, secluded location even with another house on the property. I think the point tires could be updated because it really doesn’t do the property justice. Great find!

June's vineyard is beautiful! We loved the house it was great choice to spend my 34th birthday with my loved ones. The house is beautiful on top of a little hill right off of the freeway with 3 rooms and 2.5 bathrooms. We originally came to the area to go to Pismo beach and ATV but unfortunately the dunes are closed to the companies to rent on the beach so you have to either have your own atv or a trailer so you can rent from Arnies and then haul it to the beach yourself.. We did find an alternative which was to do a hummer tour from xtreme adventures, its a 1.5 hour and it's a great substitute for atving at Pismo. We really enjoyed our stay and relaxed ate great food, drank too much tequila and caught up with eachother it was great! I loved the front porch and the views although I wish there were more outdoor seats for the front porch. The bunk beds were pretty comfortable but the king & queen were just too firm ( you can't feel the other person move or get up) if you like extremely firm beds then that won't be an issue.. The area is nice some members of our group went on a couple runs and loved it.. We do wish we would have brought our dog unfortunately it is large non refundable fee which I wish based on the pet and if there's damage afterwards. We have a 8 pound house broken hypoallergenic Maltipoo who would have loved all of that land to run on. We did have a bit of a issue with some of the rules listed. First, we're asked to not bbq greasy or heavily marinated food because it's messy and could stain but hey thats what bbq's do. Then there wasn't anything to actually light the grill with. Last thing, we had to bring all of our garbage to the front gate trash cans before leaving and if it didn't fit the rules stated it needed to be brought with us. (Most places are ok with leaving it in the garage) Also the fact that we needed to strip all of the beds before we left. I've never hard to do that before lol. These were some minor issues to look out for but we definitely enjoyed our stay!

Spontaneously, I looked for a house that would accommodate our family the day before we wanted to leave. We found this house & as some of the other reviews have mentioned, the pictures do not do it justice. The views are wonderful! You feel so far removed from the maddening crowd that peaceful is the best way to describe it. We felt very fortunate to have found this house given the last minute planning. But we were truly impressed with how quickly we were able to put the plans in motion (thank you so much Matt Allen!). Now, about the house...it was clean, comfortable, accommodating & beautiful. We had everything that we needed for a spontaneous weekend; extra bedding, a well stocked kitchen & all the comforts of home...& did I mention the view? There is another house on the property that Matt let me know would also be occupied that same weekend. For the record, from our vantage point, it was difficult to even see the house & I can honestly say that we never even knew that anyone was there. Again, thank you Matt for your prompt attention to our request & allowing our family the use of your home. It was much needed & greatly appreciated!
