NEW & luxurious! Mountain View Retreat @ the Big Black Barn-near GNP & Wfish, AC

The best place we ever stayed! We are so glad we didn't stay inside glacier national park. Everything about the big black barn is perfection. So clean, well designed, everything feels so cozy, relaxing & luxurious. We look forward to coming back every day after adventuring at the glacier. Both my wife and I can't help saying this place is so nice every time we get back after a long day. You can tell the host made so much effort in making sure you are comfortable and have everything thing you need, even for emergency. Sarah and Clay are so welcoming, thoughtful and sooo friendly. Don't hesitate to say hi when you see them! We feel like we made new friends after chatting with them. And they seems like the kind of family who will stay in touch if you do. We also got to see more of their lovely home they built and design. Both the rental and their home are such goals very insta pinterest worthy. It be a dream of ours for them to design or styled our home one day. Our stay was so lovely, it was so hard & sad to leave on our last morning. We will forever cherish everything, we will never forget this place and their family. We will highly recommend to everyone we know who will visit glacier national park. And would instantly come back here just to stay at their place, if we visit again.

This house is beautiful inside and out. We came with friends to see Glacier and it did not disappoint. We loved the mountain views from the house too.

All I can say is WOW. We have stayed in more rental properties than I can count, and this one was easily our favorite experience. The house was impeccably clean. It had everything you needed and more. Sarah and Clay really thought of everything. Kitchen was well supplied with everything needed. My kids LOVED it (5 and 2). Rooms are spacious and cozy. The fans in the room saved us when I forgot our sound machines (parents know). Beds were super comfy. I am not a great sleeper, but I slept so peaceful during this stay.The views? Unmatched. The sunrise over the mountains was our favorite part. The sunsets were also amazing. We saw wild deer almost every night. Magical! I am a family photographer and I took photos of my kids on the property. About 25-30 minutes to GNP entrance which wasn’t bad at all.Sitting by the fire with family after a long day of hiking was truly icing on the cake. Hosts included some firewood which was great. Hosts were incredibly nice! Easy to contact and beyond helpful when needed. We enjoyed several of their restaurant recommendations. The hospitality was something we’ve never experienced before! We are already planning our return and would recommend Sarah and Clay’s property to anyone and everyone!

Amazing modern place. Exactly as listed. We had an amazing time at glacier and knew we had a comfortable relaxing place to come back to. 30 minutes to the park and everything you could need.

This property was beautiful. It was in the perfect location to get to Glacier, Whitefish, and Kalispell. Sarah and Clay were great hosts and communication was easy, especially preparing for our trip. The house was very clean, sheets and bedding were so comfy, and they even had extra essentials if you forgot yours. We loved this place so much. It had amazing views and was the perfect place to relax and enjoy our wedding and honeymoon. If we were to ever return to Glacier we would absolutely stay here again!

This is the BEST rental property we have ever stayed at. The location is so convenient for adventures at Glacier National Park, with many restaurants and grocery stores only a short distance away. The property and home are gorgeous - such attention to detail, impeccable interior decorating, and beautiful outdoor landscape. The hosts (Sarah & Clay) are so welcoming, and really make their guests feel safe and “at home”. Of special note - the beds are super comfortable, the layout is open & airy, washer & dryer are awesome, and the dimmer switches throughout make for lovely ambiance. We are so glad we found this hidden gem in Montana. We hope to stay again at the Big Black Barn!!

The property was very clean and organized with everything we needed. Plenty of space for our family of 4. Owners were close by and responded quickly whenever we needed anything. Location is great, far enough away from traffic that easily driving distance for food and reaching West Glacier.

One of the best places we've stayed using VRBO. Clean, peaceful and had anything we could possibly need to feel like home away from home. The bed was very comfortable, the water was warm and the location was perfectly nestled in open fields with gorgeous views of the ranges. We saw deer, geese and a fox. Very close to town and easy access to highways for GNP and Flathead Lake. We enjoyed just cruising down the dirt road alongside the farms. It was an experience that was gone too soon, but looking forward to having again in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Big Black Barn. The location was perfect for exploring West Glacier N.P. and we had convenient access to Columbia Falls for shopping and restaurants. The Browns have created a very comfortable home-away-from-home with this property - very clean & well-maintained with modern appointments and comfortable beds. We can truthfully say that this was one of the best equipped properties we have rented - from kitchen supplies to a well stocked first-aid closet (including bear spray to use while exploring the park). There is even a private, wood burning fire pit area complete with all the fixin's for s'mores! We would definitely stay here again!

We absolutely loved the location of this property. We felt like we were in the center of everything. The property was very beautiful and very clean. The owners responded quickly when asked questions. I would highly recommend this property to family and friends. Also, the beds were comfortable and there were many details that were well thought out. The lighting in the property was fantastic. They had fans in both of the rooms and the kitchen was fully stocked if you wanted to make meals. They also had a fire pit and grill for use. The place was also stocked with paper items, shampoo & conditioner, body wash, spices, and laundry detergent. We would definitely stay there again friends

This VRBO was recommended to us from a friend that had stayed here. We were more than happy with the accommodations; they exceeded our expectations! The property is beautiful. The interior is decorated so nice, and we felt right at home upon entering. The space is cleaner than any VRBO we have stayed at. Unfortunately, we had a family emergency and had to leave early. Sarah, the host was so understanding and helpful! We have already booked a stay to return and enjoy this delightful VRBO. Don't hesitate, book this VRBO now, you will not regret it!!

5 star rental! Beautiful, comfortable, with fantastic amenities. This well-built new structure is hosted by a wonderful husband and wife team. Grounds and surroundings are amazing. The nicest short term rental we've ever visited. Perfect for daytrips to Glacier, Whitefish and Flathead Lake. Can't recommend this place enough!

Having never been to Montana before, I feel so lucky to have discovered this property. It is the perfect location to make a base. We went to Whitefish, Glacier National Park (several times) and also down to Big Fork. Each was such an easy drive. The house had everything for me and my teen boys. Actually it was stocked with more than we could ask for from cooking spices & kitchen supplies to laundry detergent and even robes and lavender linen spray!!! The house is designed so beautifully and tbeds and pillows were so comfortable. Sarah and Clay have thought of everything and are so nice and helpful. You won’t regret booking the Big Black Barn!

The Black Barn was absolutely fabulous! Everything was so new and clean and spacious. The beds and pillows were amazing, plus the host had everything we needed and they thought of everything. Great location for us, as we went to Glacier National Park each day. Plus close to restaurants and stores, but away enough to feel secluded. HIGHLY recommend this property and we plan to come back again.
