The farmhouse is great! Highly recommend!

Property took me back to my childhood a little town in West Tenn. The place was just comforting. I was able to sit on front porch rocking with my coffee and the sun rise. So much better than hotel stay worth the extra coins.

This is an amazing place. If your looking for a peaceful, quiet place, this is it. It is a beautiful property and only 15 minutes from the Ark. The home has everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Sherry is a wonderful hostess. She actually took us in and showed us around the property after we arrived late. She really made us feel welcome. We would most definitely stay here again.

Stay was for the Ark Encounter experience. This was the most peaceful, pleasant stay of my life! My 88 year old mother fell in love with the home. And it felt like a home. Beautifully decorated in the country farm theme. The hostess Sherry was a joy! She is one of the most friendly and creative host's I have ever dealt with. We will definitely be back!

The house was absolutely, without a doubt, the perfect, cozy, comforting place to stay for rest and relaxation. Anyrhing you needed, it was there at the house. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by the hostess with a warm welcome which was quite comforting and welcoming. We were visiting the Ark Encounter which is aboit 15 minutes away. This place is a MUST stay. Above all, you will be touched deeply by a beautiful soul.

The happy place was very clean with plenty of towels and kitchen was stocked with pots and pans. Sherry was an excellent host, very sweet and nice. Would definitely stay there again.

Sherry is the nicest host I’ve ever dealt with. Her communication is fantastic. This house is about 5 or so minutes from the Ark Encounter. We were given a detailed tour of the house on arrival, and Sherry was very involved with our kids by showing them all the little animals she has place around the house for them to find. We also appreciated our loaf of bread she made for us. Above all the rental was extremely clean. You cannot go wrong with this one. A from our family!

Extremely clean and cozy. Well-stocked kitchen, plus bathroom w/shampoo, hair dryer, towels, soap. Wonderfully hospitable host. Beautiful relaxing setting with rolling hills and farm fields galore. We would definitely stay here again.

We were VERY happy with our short one night stay. Owner is very helpful, thoughtful and the property is so peaceful and great place to relax after a full day of activities. House was spotless and well maintained, beds comfortable, plenty of condiments in the fridge and shampoo, body wash in bathroom. Plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the peace and quiet. We would absolutely stay here again!

This was an awesome experience on a farm! We stayed here to visit the ark and loved the family friendly environment! Sherry even made sure there were toys available! Recommend this location for anyone visiting the area

Property Manager/Owner is a wonderful, pleasant lady! House is nice, clean and secluded. She had a loaf of homemade bread waiting for us! It was delicious! Hope to be able to stay again sometime only longer.

When we arrived on 7-27 we met Sherry in the driveway so she could show us the view of the Ark. After that she showed us to the house and I have to say what an awesome place. Very quiet and secluded. She showed us around the house and told us stories of previous visitors and we felt so at home. The property is very comfortable and Sherry definitely tends to all you're needs and questions. Highly recommend this property if you are looking for a place while visiting the Ark and Creation museum.. Also Sherry will have a special treat for you upon arrival.We stayed 7-27-25 to 7-30-25.. The host, Sherry, is amazing. I will recommend this place to everyone. Everything one would need to make the stay easy and enjoyable was there. This is one of the best stocked VRBOs I have ever stayed in.

This place is wonderful. Very clean and Ms Sherry is so sweet and helpful. I loved the fire pit, porch swing. Only thing I would have done different. Is to bought some groceries before we got there. Other than that it’s a great place for a getaway. It’s so peaceful.planning going back in the fall.

Sherry was an excellent host. She greeted us at the meeting site and we followed her down her propertys road to the house. The house was neat and nicely decorated with little animals hidden throughout for the kiddos enjoyment. (Be sure to bring a tiny animal to hide for her and other visitors) Sherry gave us a tour of the house, showing us where everything is, including extra blankets and board games. She gave us a loaf of homemade banana bread and it was a delicious breakfast treat that we all enjoyed. This is the best vrbo experience we've ever had. Thanks for welcoming our Girl Scout Troop. The owner was exceptional. The location is remote in the facility is not new but very nice and large. Fully functioning, fully equipped and wonderfully private. A little bit of a distance to get to, but that’s a necessity if it’s going to be remote in private. Great proximity to the arc encounter.

We came to visit the Ark and this was the perfect place if you aren’t into the hotel thing. So close to the Ark! Secluded, so private and perfect for a family as it was for just the two of us as well. This old farm house is so well kept, clean, roomy and comfortable. I am so thankful that I found My Happy Place when searching for a place for my mom and I to stay. We both so appreciated Sherry's hospitality and loved her creative decorating. Pleasant, spacious and carefully tended, this cottage is tucked amid quiet, rolling green hills. The privacy and peaceful countryside was such a blessing. Being close to the Ark was ideal.

It was perfect. Since my hubby and I both have busy schedules, we were looking for something quiet and more like home. The Happy Place certainly met that wish and then some. Sherry was great to work with and made us feel so welcome. We will definitely be back.

My friend of nearly 30 years and I came to stay at this little slice of heaven for just a small little getaway from our stressful day to day and catch up. We had such a great and comfortable stay here. It was perfect. Sherry was so wonderful and informative, and she worked with us when we were about to blasted with what we hope is the last snow storm of the season. She allowed us to move the date so we could truly enjoy our trip. She brought us a loaf of delicious bread that didn't last the night lol. The fire pit was all stacked and ready to go, the house was very clean and well stocked. In our excitement we forgot 2 items: 1 egg and Cumin. She was gracious enough to share an egg from her kitchen and track down the spice we needed to complete our delicious meal. The weather was perfect, the beds were comfy and the house is cozy. 10/10 will be back again. Thank you again for a much needed day off and sharing your Happy Place with us!

My family of 4 (2 kids 8&9), and my husband and I traveled from NY to KY over the New Year holiday to see the Ark Encounter. Sherry was such a thoughtful and gracious host! She contacted me a few weeks before our stay to give directions, met us at the entry to the property to take us back to our rental, and had even set up animals around the rental for the kids to find! The home was so clean, and had everything our family needed during our stay, from spices & condiments for meals we cooked to extra toiletries and laundry soap. It quickly felt like a home away from home. Sherry was so accessible, yet gave us space to explore the area and enjoy our time as a family on her property. We will definitely be back!!

Host was wonderful. House was so well kept. No traffic and beautiful views all the time. A place to just relax and take in God's handy work and view nature as it was intended, undisturbed!!! Hospitality was awesome. Would stay there again.

We had a great time. My children loved having the field to play in. Everything was very clean. Property owner was very nice a helpful. We cooked dinner one night on the fire outside but we were also happy to have a full kitchen to cook in. The cottage is tucked away in the back of the farm. All you see when you come out I. The morning are the rolling hills of open land. What a change from my normal pace. Thank you for a great visit and for the delicious bread treat.

My family absolutely loved our stay at this property. The owner Sherry makes you feel like part of the family when you check in and she is sure to include something for everyone in your stay. This property was one of the cleanest rentals we’ve ever stayed in. The house is stocked well with everything you need for your stay and the property is absolutely breathtaking.The sunrise and sunset out there is amazing and the amount of stars you can see! I recommend planning time to just make a fire in the fire pit and relax under the stars while you’re there.

Restful & peaceful! Deer in the yard every morning. Our hostess, Sherry made us feel welcome and her homemade Cushaw bread was fabulous! Her history of this wonderful property was so interesting. She is a jewel. Everything we needed was on site. We did our laundry and returned on the flight home with clean clothes, so no laundry at home.It was very close to the ark and eating places. I highly recommend this HAPPY PLACE.

My husband and I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay when we traveled to Williamstown to visit the Ark Encounter. Sherry, the owner, was a delight to meet and very hospitable. The property is beautiful, and we enjoyed walking around, taking nature photos, sitting by the fire, and just unwinding. Sherry has thought of everything one night need and goes the extra mile in a number of ways, including making the most delicious bread for her guests! She is a willing and effective communicator, which is so helpful. The provisions for the fire pit were great, and we enjoyed looking at the stars and listening for the coyotes in the distance. :) The location is perfect--close enough to shops and restaurants to be convenient, but secluded enough to be a retreat. If you're looking for a quiet and peaceful place to stay, where you're treated like a friend from the start, My Happy Place is for you!

What a treat! From the excellent communication with Sherry from the initial booking , to having her meet us at the drive!! What a treasure she is! The house is perfect with all amenities provided. Nestled at the back of the property, peaceful is an understatement. A fabulous retreat when you visit the Ark Encounter! The fresh bread and brownies were awesome !!!!

SUCH A BEAUTIFUL PLACE TO STAY. SO RELAXING. ALL THE VIEWS WERE BREATH TAKING. EVERYTHING WE NEEDED AND THEN SOME. I FORGOT MY IRON BUT ONE WAS PROVIDED. SO CLEAN. COULDN'T HAVE ASKED FOR A BETTER HOSTESS. THE BREAD WAS AN EXTA SPECIAL TREAT. OUR GRANDSON GRIFFIN DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE. I HAVE RECOMMENDED THIS FARM HOUSE TO SEVERAL FRIENDS.

My Happy Place is one of the most unique little farmhouses situated in the beautiful rolling hills. Sherry, the host, is as friendly a woman as you would ever want to meet. And what a great sense of humor. The farmhouse was immaculate and the surrounding property was stunning. We didn’t want to leave thank you Sherry for everything!!
