We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful Bainbridge home. The location is perfect—peaceful and secluded, yet close to everything you might need. We especially enjoyed the great access to hiking trails right from the property, and the quiet made it feel like a true retreat. The kitchen is up to date and had everything we needed for cooking and relaxing meals at home. A minor issue with the shower was addressed quickly by Kelly, and we appreciated how attentive she was throughout our stay. The setting is stunning, and we could have spent an entire day just enjoying the gardens and scenery. Our kids joined us for part of the stay, and the home worked perfectly for everyone. Kelly was easy to work with and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. We left already talking about when we might return. Highly recommended!

One of my favorite houses I’ve stayed in. Tucked away in a nice, quiet part of the island, this property is beautiful and the house has so much character. We had the best weekend there and the hot tub was a nice added bonus. Will absolutely come back if they’ll have us!

The property was lovely, quiet and private with beautiful landscaping (and wildlife!), and in an excellent location. Home entry was easy (door code), though host didn't provide it until 4 hours prior to check in. This is a beautiful old home. House was well appointed with an excellent kitchen (lots of pots/pans and equipment), plenty of towels, blankets, pillows, etc. The hot tub was clean, close to the home, and worked as expected. The beds were comfortable. The upstairs bathroom could use updating and/or cleaning but was functional. The stairs are very steep/narrow and may be difficult for some but they do have a sturdy rail and non-slip material on the treads. The check-out time of 11:30 was appreciated as it kept us from feeling rushed to leave. Would stay here again if we were in the area.

The home has such character and the property itself is stunning! It was great to use the firepit and hot tub (which was immaculate). We had a nice family gathering in a great location and enjoyed walking to HeyDay Farm for dinner, as well as all the trails nearby.

We stayed as an adult family unit when visiting Bainbridge for a wedding. The grounds are gorgeous, and the house is charming in the way only old houses can be. That being said, the old house charm comes with old house issues like steep stairs and uneven floors, but the whole thing was cute and fun.

This a beautiful property that provides a great balance of solitude and proximity to popular Bainbridge Island sights. Cooking in the modern, well-equipped kitchen was a pleasure. We recommend capping off your evenings with a dip in the hot tub and a glass of wine around the fire pit. Great experience!

Three friends, all seniors, had a lovely time at the Taylor House. Easy to find with GPS, access without problems. Felt remote though neighbors not far away. Very quiet rural setting, but 15 min drive to charming downtown Winslow with great shopping and dining. No issues to contact the owner about during our stay. WiFi worked pretty well though cell coverage was spotty. Nice old farmhouse with characteristic features like sloping hardwood floors but updated well-stocked kitchen and bath. Two good sized bedrooms upstairs with a third small room with sloping attic type ceiling and a full bath. Three quarter bath (with shower) just off the kitchen. Several rooms on main floor, all nicely furnished and comfortable. Weather happened to be terrible so we did not use the outdoor space at all. Likely would be lovely in nicer weather. A few little niceties were missing (not a single box of tissues in the house) but others covered like several hooks on the bedroom door.
