Stayed Jul 20, 2022The owners were wonderful and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make sure our children had as much interaction as safely possible with the animals. They brought horses down, when requested, and let them 'assist' during feeding times. ? The house was clean and all stated amenities were there. The owners are very responsive and really care about your stay. Although it was summer and probably seemingly too hot, they brought us firewood to have a campfire with our kids. We will definitely go back.

Stayed Mar 15, 2022We loved the spaciousness of the home and view of the lovely farm animals! The farm fresh eggs and s’more ingredients were delicious and a nice and unexpected welcoming gift! If we are near the area we will definitely stay at the Farmhouse Retreat again. ?

Stayed Aug 31, 2024This house is the cutest little farm house. The kids enjoyed staying here and seeing the animals. There’s lot of kids toys, pack n play, high hair, etc. This is the perfect house for a family with young children. We enjoyed watching the variety of movies and playing games with the family. We will be back!

Stayed Apr 8, 2024This property was as advertised. Communication with the owners was excellent. Check-in was a breeze. We found our home clean and stocked better than most. The animals were delightful and the farm setting peaceful. The central HVAC unit worked well. The beds and pillows were quite comfortable. Pet friendly was truly appreciated. We found the price point of this home appropriate and affordable. We would rent again if in the Hendersonville/Lake Lure area.

Stayed Apr 5, 2024We had a wonderful time! Great location, very clean, easy check-in and check-out process. Loved the black out curtains. Haha, you don’t realize how important those are till you have kids. We also got to enjoy the farm and our kids pet and fed all the cute animals. Fantastic and unique view to wake up to. We will stay there again in a heartbeat!

Stayed Dec 27, 2023We had a great stay. Accommodated my family of 10 very well. Minnie, the dog greeted us almost every day! Very sweet! We visited family, went hiking, and snowboarding! The kids had a blast! All within a short drive. Would love to do it again!!
