There is a community meditation field, roughly 20 acres, across the street for walking or meditating. There is a river right down the street for kayaking. There are many biking and hiking trails and outdoor spaces to enjoy only 5 minutes away. There are also beautiful places to swim nearby in the summer and ski in the winter months. Downtown Lenox and Tanglewood are less than a 10 minute drive up the street! Lenox has many great restaurants, shops, bookstore, grocery, cafes, and art galleries.

For any and all animal lovers-we do have 2 adorable rescued mini donkeys that you can schedule to visit, along with some friendly chickens.

Our place is truly relaxing and provides you with all that you can ask for in a rental and vacation.

My husband and I were visiting Kripalu, but signed up late for the workshop and all the rooms were full. We needed a place basically to rest our heads so we weren’t on the property The bed was comfortable and we both slept well. I do bring my own pillow everywhere so I can’t comment on the pillows, but the mattress was comfortable. There was also a gallon of water in the fridge, which was very helpful and I forgot my soap, but found body soap in the shower. Jodi is extremely friendly and introduced me to the adorable donkeys. Easy stay, reasonably priced, clean, convenient, with beautifully maintained grounds. I would stay again.

Apartment was clean, bright with comfortable beds. Great location for Berkshires visit, close to Tanglewood and all places fun. Only drawback for us (me and two college friends) was that we brought food for breakfasts and it’s not set up for eating in. No sink in the small kitchen so paper plates and plastic utensils are provided. Small but useful refrigerator. Only a microwave. Small coffee maker but Jodi nicely provided lots of coffee so we weren’t ornery in the morning! Brought in picnic food and ate in the backyard and watched the donkeys! Make sure you make dinner reservations well in advance in the summer. Also had a fun day in Great Barrington with theater!

We had a great stay here. The hosts are wonderful and welcoming. Jodi was super helpful with places to visit in the area. This is the perfect location if you are visiting Tanglewood or the Berkshires.

It was everything we imagined it would be; Jodi was lovely. The place was clean and bright, and so big, the donkeys were a joy to meet, the location is the very center of the Berkshires, north and south!

This was the second year in a row here, and it was just as fantastic as the first time. My family loves the location, and we look forward to visiting again!

Wonderful place, would definitely stay there again. The donkeys were an added bonus, curious but a bit wary.

We enjoyed our stay here. It was very clean and we appreciated that! There is an outdoor swing that was a good spot for reading or watching the fireflies at night. The space itself could use a few extra lamps and side tables—minor upgrades, but it overall was a great place to land while exploring the Berkshires. Recommend!

The property is immaculate. Jodi and Tim are gracious and laid back hosts. They made us feel completely at home. The space is very comfortable and well appointed. Great location. Loved visiting with the animals. Can't wait to return to stay with them again.

We so enjoyed our stay at the historic farmhouse. Jodi and Tim greeted us very warmly, lent us a guitar, and helped us find things to do in the area. The location is quiet other than the occasional bray of one of the adorable rescue donkeys. The upstairs floor where we stayed had everything we needed and pretty views. It was an easy drive to Tanglewood, Shakespeare and Co., nice restaurants, and hiking. We hope to be back soon!
