Large Brick Farmhouse located close to Lancaster County Attractions

The home was large and spacious for our group. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The host responded quickly from the booking until check in.

The house was tidy, well equipped with amenities, and in a great location with plenty of parking. The owners communicated very quickly and were very attentive. It snowed on the last night and the owners came and cleared the sidewalk. We actually left something behind and they were kind enough to ship it back. Hope to stay there again next year!

A well appointed and welcoming home that was perfect for our needs and had more than what we wanted. We totally enjoyed our stay. We were fortunate enough to be outside showing the cows to the kids when Dale was working and we got to meet him and learn about some of the cows. Totally perfect 4 day home-away-from-home that I could not recommend more that I do.

Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, silverware, and dinnerware. Great location 10 minutes from just about everything and Cherry Crest Adventure farm is right across the road. Steam train runs through the field behind the house during the day! Quiet and peaceful location with plenty of parking!

Great property location and really neat house with lots of room and cool places to chill.

Great quiet property as long as the train and the active adventure darm bext year doesnt bother you. A little away from attractions except foer sight and sound but peaceful. We have enjoyed the size of the property and its homey and historical feel. Only drawbacks was we were held to the 3 pm checkin but then asked by the owner to vacate earlier than indicated so he could prepare for the next day. We also paid a 150 cleaning fee and were asked to vacuum, etc.

Great experience! The house is beautiful with all the modern conveniences but still takes you back with the well retained feel of an “antique home. We loved the cows. There was plenty to do for the kids. They had a ball with the trikes. The area is beautiful and grounds are well maintained. We would highly recommend this home!!

We (5 adults and 2 children) really enjoyed our weekend at the beautiful farmhouse and surrounding property. Would definitely rent again.

Great place for a large group. we had 8 in our group. very close to sight and sound, shopping, and railroad.

We came out from NW Ohio to Lancaster for a Bible quiz tournament. This house was the perfect home for the teens and coaches. It gave us ample space to practice, play, eat, relax and sleep. And it was just 15 minutes to the tournament. Thank you for opening your home to us!

Wonderful family time

We love staying here with our family. There is plenty of room, we love the barns, and we love the cows.

We enjoyed this beautiful old house, with original woodwork and doors. Such character. The homeowner accommodated our requests, and came over on Sunday. Very congenial.

It was clean and well maintained. We absolutely loved the property. We spent a lot of time outdoors with the cows, by the fire pit and watching the train pass. The house was spacious and airy making the time inside enjoyable as well. Staying across the street was such a fun bonus for us.Thank you for giving our family a great vacation!

The room for our group of 13 was great. We were all able to sit at the table and eat diner and play games. The kids had a great time outside with the bikes, drums etc. Plenty of room, great location. We would stay here again.

The host is superb, very accomodating and helpful. The house is spacious and clean. The location is great. We enjoyed our stay. The only thing that could be improved is the mattresses were a little noisy.

We had a lovely time with family for an extended weekend. The Cherry Crest Farm Adventure is right across the street. Our two year old grandson was super excited when the Strasburg train went by. The children had lots of room to play. They enjoyed watching the cows and riding the trikes down the driveway. The adults loved the porches. The street becomes very quiet after the adventure farm closes. We enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the occasional clip clop of horses as the buggies passed by. Highly recommend if you enjoy low key family time. If more entertainment is your style, the property is only a few miles from everything Lancaster has to offer.

We got there 20 th June during the heat wave. Everything was great and indoor climate was great considering the heat outside.

We had a wonderful weekend at the house. There was lots of room to be together or apart. The little kids loved the swings outside. Having a second refridgerator came in handy. The location was perfect for us. Dale was great to work with.
