Historic Victorian Farmhouse near Great Smoky Mtns Nat Park

Beautiful scenery straight out of a movie! Comfortable beds, wifi, netflix, what more do you need? Loved the porch swings, rockers, and fire pit.

Loved it and recommend it anyone who loves the isolation of the country, wildlife, and overall beauty and history of the place!

This was by far the best VRBO rental I have stayed in!!!!!!!The pictures do not do this rental justice. My family and I stayed here for Thanksgiving. It was perfect. We felt like we were staying in Cade’s Cove. We watched turkeys from the front porch walking in the field across the creek. The views were spectacular. The inside of the home was so warm and cozy. The kitchen/ dining room was my favorite spot. Our family would gather in the morning by the dining room fireplace and drink coffee and cook breakfast. This was the perfect Thanksgiving home. The host was very attentive and made sure we knew he was available if we had any needs. We always rent cabins when we stay in the Smokey mountains…not anymore! We will definitely stay at this farmhouse when go back.Trish Therrell

This was the best by far property we have ever stayed in. Beautiful victorian home, beautifully decorated and the grounds had flowers blooming. The front porch was where we had our morning coffee. We listened to the creek, watched the cows and turkeys and it was so relaxing. I will definitely booking again. It was an absolute10.

We stayed at the house for our wedding we planned on having at Cades Cove but the place was so beautiful we had it right there in the yard. We all fell in love with this place. The pictures don’t do it justice. The best vacation home I’ve ever stayed in. We are already looking forward to our next stay there. It was so beautiful and peaceful we didn’t want to leave!

What a wonderful, magical place. A person writing a storybook couldn’t dream up a more welcoming abode. From the picturesque views to the babbling brook just off the front porch it is purely amazing. We will be staying here again, hopefully for years to come.

We wanted a place for a quiet couple days to rest and relax - the farmhouse delivered! Our favorite moments were sitting on the porch enjoying g the sounds of the creek and nature. We look forward to visiting again!

Lou & Carla’s place is a fabulous place for a respite. The old farmhouse is very cozy and beautifully restored. Would recommend this place for anyone to stay in and we will definitely be back again.

This was our third time staying in Louis' home and it was a treat once again. Our kids were welcomed with a gift under the Christmas tree that was a perfect fit for them. We always enjoy our relaxing retreat tonthis beautiful country home.

My kids live exploring the creek and going on walks down the valley road while watching the cows graze. It provides a jump back in time that we all could use!

We loved the home from our first sight when we rounded the corner and drove in the driveway. The weather was perfect. We went on excursions each day, but the best part always was coming home and relaxing on the porch with a book and cocktail The cows and wild turkeys kept us entertained. We also loved watching the wild birds at the feeders. We have already made plansto go back. Need we say more?

The property was amazing and very peaceful, our host was very responsive and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed for the trip, I would love to come back and spend some more peaceful nights in the farmhouse. Close proximity to Townsend where there are several good options and Only 12mns away from the smokies!

Immaculate property in the most gorgeous pastoral setting. The listing images make it look like a gingerbread cottage in the mountains and that is exactly what it is. Highly recommend!

Peaceful, quiet, and beautiful! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The temps were cool and we loved sitting on the porch during a thunderstorm. We saw the cows, deer, and turkeys daily. We were sad to leave!

We and our friends are in the area often and mostly stayed in motels until finding this house. We love that it’s always clean and cozy. It isn’t like some of the huge houses we typically rent in Gatlinburg or Myrtle Beach but it is set up well and we have just enough space for 3 couples. There is a pull out bed in the den upstairs if any of our kids decide to tag along. We love that when we walk in, it’s like coming home. Also, we have kids and grandkids close by who love to come visit us there. The weather can be so unpredictable but even when it isn’t great, there are things to do. We grill out, watch movies and we really enjoy watching all of the wild life. We LOVE this property and the fact that it is so affordable!
