Farmhouse Colombaiolo Apartment Marta with swimming pool

Reserved this wonderful property on behalf of my wife & daughter. They raved about the host Simona who was very welcoming and available as needed. Their experience was exactly as they hoped for with very nice accommodations and tremendous views of the Siena countryside.

Excellent property with very friendly Owners on the edge of Siena. My second visit and i will definitely return.

Had a wonderful stay in Siena for 10 days. The property is beautiful, the apartment so cute and comfortable and well appointed. My mom, Aunt and I had this as our home base and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is ideal being a short drive into Siena but you are really out in the countryside so you get the peace and quiet and gorgeous views. The weather was a bit too cool to swim but it was lovely sitting out on the patio and on the hillside overlooking all the farms, so picturesque. Simona and her husband are terrific hosts, helpful and welcoming, will definitely book again!

This was a lovely location just north of Siena. I think ideally, I would stay south of Siena to avoid some traffic coming and going. Simona was very kind; she and her husband helped us out when our rental car gave us oil warning and the dipstick was dry. Unfortunately, I had not noticed a notice online that the pool was closed by the time we were staying there as we had looked forward to using it.

Simona is an excellent host. Dealt with all our requests for help very quickly and positively. The apartment is spacious and well maintained with a lovely pool a few metres away. Location is excellent for visiting Siena, take the local bus and you can be in the Campo in 30 minutes, so much easier than driving in.

This trip was a part of a homeschooling trip with my kids. The hostess that met us was not friendly, spoke very little English and couldn’t provide us with WI-FI information. Given that we needed the internet for phone and schoolwork, we chose to move to different accommodations. We were never shown a pool but I’m sure that there’s one on the grounds.

We had a wonderful time in Simone’s apartment . It was very clean, had a very comfortable bed, one and a half bathrooms, the kitchen and the dining area and a living area for the Marta apartment. There was a pool where we swam every day after sightseeing all day. There was a lovely outdoor eating area where we could have breakfast and dinner. We would love to return here again because we had a wonderful time and Simone provided everything we needed.

Very nice Apartment located in the country, a few minutes to Siena and central to the other towns in Tuscany. The Apartment is exactly as described, clean, well furnished, private and secure. Our host Simona was very nice, and accommodating. We had a very enjoyable 5 night stay and would stay here again if we have the good fortune to be back in Tuscany.

We had a great time in Colombaiolo ! Located a few minutes from Siena, it is the ideal place to visit the region (Firenze, San Gimignano, Volterra, Crete Senesi, Arezzo ...) The apartment ‘Marta’ is well equipped and furnished. It is not necessary to bring linen or towels as they are provided. It was nice to find beds perfectly made when we arrived. The agriturismo Colombaiolo is a pleasant place very well maintained. The swimming-pool area is just perfect! As mentioned by another vacationer, reality is better than the pictures. Simona and her family take discreetly but surely care of their hosts. Simona is always available for providing information. And we thank them once again!
