Cozy, country-feel, private, close to everything, for family & friends to gather

We had a wonderful weekend. The house was perfect, clean, large, attractive, and comfortable.

My group has stayed at multiple properties owned by Joan and Jerry. Each time we’ve stayed, we have been impressed with the way Joan and Jerry operate. Excellent hosts!

Second bathroom is rather small. Kitchen was well stocked. Large yard for the kids.

Joan and Jerry were very pleasant and showed us where everything was upon arrival. They were also flexible with their arrival time which made it very convenient for planning the day of arrival. We had a large group and there was plenty of space for us all.

Each year we choose a new location and home for our expanding family vacation. Jerry and Joan were so welcoming and made our stay comfortable. We had plenty of room for everyone and the grandchildren had a beautiful yard to play in. Definitely in our top 10.

Good experience, plenty of space and amenities. Warm Cozy feel to house! One thing I would suggest is upgrading mattresses on a couple of the beds. I happened to sleep on one that was hard and so did another couple but then a few said their beds were fine. Thank you.

We stayed here over 4th of July weekend for a family get-together. We had four families with kids 3-7years old. The property was clean and had the perfect amount of space for everyone in our group. Joan, the host, met us at check-in and showed us everything we would need. The large yard and gravel driveway were great for the kids to play and ride bikes. We were also liked that there was a park just about a block away that we could walk to with the kids. Everyone said the beds were comfortable and they slept well throughout the weekend. We all agreed we would come back again.

We enjoyed a quick trip to La Crosse to see live music with family. Jerry and Joan were great hosts and had a wonderful place with a rural setting nestled right inside of town. Wonderful place. Would stay here again.

Met with Joan upon arrival and she was great. She gave us lots of ideas on where to go, what to see and places to eat. Beautiful home, well equipped kitchen, plenty of room for all. Will definitely stay here again.

What a lovely property. The big backyard, patio and 3 seasons room really make this property. The kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of choices for sleeping arrangements. Highly recommended!

We rented the property for a graduation .Jerry and Joan were awesome to work with. Check in went well. The property was in town but we had a very private yard to relax in.. we were close to La Crosse for the graduation ceremony. Everyone was happy with the property. Joan and Jerry were awesome hoasts. This property is extremely family friendly! We loved the outdoor space, and the sunroom was an extra bonus. We will definitely be back! A few extra perks would be an outdoor grill, and firepit.

A group of 6 of us stayed in this quaint house. There was plenty of space for all of us and we were very comfortable. The ownwers were very responsive to our requests and made a special trip for us, which we very much appreciated.

Very inviting. Clean easy to get to. Lots of room to hang out with friends and family. Beds comfortable. Kitchen well stocked. The boys went ice fishing and the girls enjoyed sightseeing, shopping and playing games.

The house was perfect for our fishing getaway. Rustic but urban all at the same time! We truly enjoyed our time there. Thinking about planning another trip soon and definitely will consider staying here again!

The host was fantastic, communicated well and very gracious with checkout process! This property worked pretty good for group of 14. A few upgrades to the property would be desired. Some of the beds felt like we were sleeping on plywood so those could use an upgrade. There technically weren't 6 separate bedrooms, but 5 sleeping spaces (3 have doors that shut to the bedroom) There is really only 1 functional shower as the second one is extremely tiny with a slanted ceiling. A middle schooler or smaller could probably use it. One extra table would be nice in the living room as there was not enough space for all of us to sit. Thankfully college daughter lived close enough and had a card table to let us use for the weekend.

A very wonderful house. A lot of parking spots offstreet Lots of bed options for family coming into town, and would do it again in a heartbeat.

Nicely appointed for family stays. Everything clean and well done. The second bathroom is tight and the shower may be best for children given the height of the showerhead but overall a very nice stay! It was nice to stay somewhere that didn’t feel the need to stick a TV around every corner as it leads to more actual time spent with family!

This property is just adorable! It is so close to downtown lacrosse but feels like you’re in the country. It is clean and cozy and had room for all of us. We were able to all be together easily and happily. We were able to go out on our outings and back to a warm and cozy place to hang out together thank you.

This is a great location for hosting large groups who are looking for a place to crash for the night but plan to go out and about during the day. The many beds were comfy and the outside space was spacious. Our hosts were very helpful and accommodating!

The property worked well for our family of 11. There was plenty of room to spread out and lots of space for the kids to run around. The hosts were very helpful in helping us find the grill so we could grill one night and eat out side. We had a great time exploring the town of LaCrosse and just being together. We even took advantage of the LaCrosse airport.

This suited our needs perfectly. The place is lovely and very clean - had everything we needed. We loved our time!

Lovely site for our family gathering. We had plenty of room to accomodate three family groups for sleeping and six for a buffet dinner. Lovely yard for outdoor games and grilling breakfast.

This was our second stay. The location gives us room to get together and also have privacy when it’s needed. We coul see that the owners, Jerry and Joan, had made many improvements since last year-several of when we had suggested. Most enjoyable!

We had a boys trip (13 guys) and a lot of us wanted to do fishing at the float and this place is a great location. The interior was spacious and so was the yard. Our favorite was probably the sunroom where we spent most of our time. Would definitely book here again.

We stayed here during a fishing week, and it met all our expectations. There's plenty of room for parking, and a nice big backyard. The house had everything we needed, and we enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor spaces. Communication and check-in was simple and the place was clean and well appointed. The location is quite handy, with restaurants close and good shopping less than 10 minutes away. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and would return in the future.

I took my students on their officer retreat and chose this location for its space, beauty, and farm feel. Students had loved this beautiful place to be able to plan their events for the rest of year and be able to take their officer team pictures. It was a beautiful and awesome place to stay.

This place is spacious and was perfect for our family reunion!
