Blackhawk Creek - A Great Family Getaway

This property was a great get away for family

This was such a good stay! The property was beautiful and so convenient to the park and in town stores. We would love to stay again.

The property was perfect for our family gathering! The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The bathrooms had plenty of linens and the house was clean and ready when we arrived at check-in. CVS and the Dollar General were close by to pick up anything that we needed. Thank you for having a lovely place to gather!

We had the pleasure of staying here for 4 nights. It was a beautiful farm house set on a wonderful working farm. We were able to sit outside under a cover gazebo or by the firepit at night (wood provided) and take in the amazing sights. The beds/rooms were just as described and very spacious. 2 were on main level and two upstairs. We had everything we needed to cook/grill meals and grocery store was very close. Plenty of clean towels for showering. It was all very perfect. There was even a calf born or first morning. We would for sure stay here again. We went to Holiday World, a cave and Louisville while staying here. The owners were very responsive, kind, and even understanding. I am proud they allowed us to stay in their home. This home truly accommodated 14 people for sleeping, eating, and entertaining.

This place is great ! We stayed for the weekend trip to holiday world. Nice quiet country house with plenty of room for our 2 families. The house was clean and very well kept. The rolling hills around make for a great view and outside gazebo was awesome. Highly recommended, would definitely stay here again !!

Blackhawk creek met all our needs for space, kitchen, distance to Holiday World. We ate breakfast and dinner back at the house and lunch at the park both days. There was plenty of room for everyone. It was easy to find. It was clean and well appointed.

Everything needed for a family stay after a couple fun days at Holiday World. Convenient location to HW and Ferdinand or Jasper.

Our third time there! We absolutely loved it! We talked with the lady who fed the sheep! What a lovely lady! It was a wonderful time! 5 stars!!!!!

Could not of had a better experience. Location was incredible for Holiday World. We had no need for anything. One of the best spors weve ever stayed. Accommodated 10 people comfortably. We loved gazebo with the grill. All tv worked. Especially enjoyed the privacy, while waking up to cows

This farmhouse was perfect for pur group with trucks and trailers. Plenty of space for parking and house was very nice and well setup.

This old family farmhouse is immaculate! Smack dab in the middle of a working cattle farm. Our party of 9 adults and side by sides had plenty of room including trailer parking. Close to Interlake Offroad Rec Area which was the reason for our visit. Be sure to have dinner at Mama T’s Italian Steakhouse! Scenic, peaceful, super clean and great communication with our host. Top notch rental!

It's an adorable farm house with plenty of space & beds for large familes. We had 8 in our group & plenty of table space & beds. The property is quite, peaceful, & beautiful. There are cows near by, but caused no problems & enjoyed watching them daily.

beautiful country loved the stay only thing i would change would be the beds they are very hard not comfortable

We love this place. Its only 10 minutes to Holiday World & 15-20 minutes to several restaurants. The house was clean, strong WIFI & modern TV's with a YouTube TV subscription. The appliances are modern & in good order

A great place to stay with a large family. 10 minutes from Holiday World and fast food.

We had our first family vacation with our grown children and grandsons. It was a great location to go Holiday World. It was a beautiful setting. We loved the place to hangout and spending time for our whole family! Would love to stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this place. We got lost & Gloria was super nice to help us get there & then proceeded to tell us the easy way to go back & forth. Gloria was wonderful to work with & the place was perfect for our group. Interestingly, my daughter & her family live on a family farm & felt right at home. The packet of information includes restaurants in the area. We were only 15 minutes from Holiday World when we followed Gloria’s instructions! ???I highly recommend this place!

The view and the property were so peaceful, it was fun to watch the cows roaming through the pastures, and explaining farm life to our grandkids. It was a close easy drive to Holiday world, which was wonderful at the end of the day when we were very tired and had 6 small children that needed to get back and go to bed. We also enjoyed playing lots of games that were there at the house for our use. We also appreciated comfortable beds.
