Stayed May 3, 2025Maginstown house is perfect for large family groups. It is beautifully quiet and yet in easy reach of lots of interesting towns, cities and countryside. The house is brilliantly equipped with everything you could possibly need, including of basic kitchen staples. Nicholas is an excellent, thoughtful host for whom nothing is too much trouble. A gem of a place!

Stayed Jul 27, 2024My family has been renting homes in Europe for more than 40 years, and I can honestly say that the Ryans were the most gracious hosts we've ever had. They could not have been more accommodating. Anything you need or want, and they are there to help with a smile. The house is like being in two centuries at once with all the charm of the medieval building it is and all the modern comforts we've come to expect. The house is well stocked with everything you need - linens, dishes, pots & pans and the best chef's knives I've ever encountered in a rental. The hosts have also added many lovely extra touches, and the house is beautifully appointed - and spotless! We found the location to be perfect for us. It's just enough of the way to be quiet and private, but close enough to everything we wanted to see and do. And the views are just spectacular! We could not recommend this home more.

Stayed Jul 22, 2023Historic Irish cottage with modern amenities centrally located in Southern Ireland’s golden vale. Cows, green rolling fields, and Slievenamon mountain are visible from the cottage. Most importantly, the hosts were kind, delightful and warmly welcoming. You couldn’t find a more perfect place to stay for your visit to Ireland. Be sure to use Google maps to find it as it will take you right there.
