We had a great time , a lot of great moments outside and out , tennis court , bbq , pool , watching movie with amazing AC when it’s too hot outside . Excellent can’t wait to go back

Our group was 2 couples ( in our 60s) staying for a week. The Villa was perfect as both bedrooms had en suites along with decent sized living areas to relax. We enjoyed the fresh oranges from the groves that are part of the property. It is a very quiet and relaxing environment. We did not walk into the town as it is a long walk - a car is necessary . The pool is large and a focal point of the villa. It does require some maintenance due to missing tiles. the house had a few more cobwebs than we would have expected... that could easily have been removed before we arrived. Overall we really enjoyed the property and would recommend staying there.

A fantastic holiday at Quinta Mimosa - just what we needed. Peace and quiet, beautiful extensive grounds with gorgeous oranges and figs (mangoes not quite ripe!). The pool was amazing and we played tennis every day. The beds and sunbeams were very comfy (we have dodgy backs and are quite fussy) and kitchen very well equipped. Lots of outside seating areas. The hammock could do with being replaced but part from that all lovely. Less than 10 mins into Tavira for supplies and great restaurants. Dina met us on arrival and was very quick to respond to any questions. Emmanuel the Gardner was also very helpful. Thank you Quinta Mimosa!

We had a wonderful time at Quinta Mimosa. Dina was a welcoming and engaging host. Her communication with us was amazing. Even though we had some rainy days it was a wonderful place to stay. Very beautiful and peaceful.

Ten days of heaven! This was one of the best places we have ever rented and there have been a few. The property is absolutely gorgeous-and there is a lot of it! The gardens and the pool are stunning. The house is lovely and well equipped. There is an impressive library and lots of seating areas to cozy up to. Dina, our host, was on property to greet us and was quick to respond to any questions. The drive into Tavira to all the restaurants takes 5 minutes. We would love to come back!

We waited 2 years to visit but so glad we did! The property was perfect for us with lots of interesting details & places to sit & just enjoy. Dina is a wonderful hostess and made the whole stay even more enjoyable. We love Portugal & this was a fantastic place to enjoy the Algarve from.

Quinta Mimosa sits on top of a beautiful hill and overlooks a beautiful valley and river with partial views of Tavira. It is a 3 minute ride into town and the beautiful sights there. The villa itself is outstanding and 5 star in every respect. New spacious bathrooms in every bedroom. Gourmet kitchen and beautiful grilling are by the pool. The view out into the back yard is stunning overlooking the blue water pool. Orange, lemon, tangerine, avocado and almond trees abound on the 10 + acre site. Fresh squeezed orange juice every day when in season. A truly outstanding villa. You will not be disappointed it you stay there.

We have holidayed many times in Portugal & had day visited Tavira before but this was the first time we holidayed in the area - loved it! Our party of 4 (2 couples in our 60's) were delighted with Quinta Mimosa. Its location is quiet & secluded but offers easy access into the town itself. The pool & huge grounds are superb, the BBQ area enticed us into staying in on a few nights when we enjoyed fish brought from the local market with a few glasses of Planalto (my wife's favourite Portuguese white wine). There are plenty of nearby restaurants to chose from if you don't wish to cook. A choice of golf courses nearby too! We think the villa was renovated a few years ago & some parts were just a little tired as was the pool loungers but this is really a minor criticism & the only thing that stops us rating it 5 star. We are quite discerning & we genuinely loved the villa & intend to return next year. The manager (Dina) is always on hand to help & advise. In conclusion we had probably our best ever holiday in Portugal & we have visited over 20 times. Stephen C
