This place is beautiful and views are so calm and relaxing. The goats are probably the best part in my opinion :) This cottage was clean and decorated nicely. They weren’t lying about the stairs but it helped us work off all the delicious Amish food we ate lol. Communication was great and always got a quick reply about any and all questions. They provided some amenities provided including- towels and linens,coffee and tea, there was also a blow dryer along shampoo and conditioner. Only thing we would have liked were a sponge for washing dishes but we made do. We would def come again!

Extremely clean, charming, and nice location

Very clean nice house would stay again. Unfortunately couldn’t bring whole family as it’s a 3 level so lots of stairs but over all great place.

Our stay was exceptional! Eli did an awesome job making the place feel very homey. The views are breathtaking, the hot tube was perfect after a long day of shopping, etc. The location is also very central located.

This lovely country home overlooks a farm-filled valley and distant hills with, this time of year, lots of autumn color.It's surrounded by trees, a pond, and a fenced-in grassy area for four welcoming goats, whom you can hand-feed with due care, thanks to feed packets offered by the owner.The owner was easy to work with via email, before and during our stay. The internet was slow for him once or twice, so we had to wait for a response, which finally worked out.Keep in mind that this vrbo is a three-level home. It's a kitchen on the first level, off the drive under the balcony; it lets you drive in, unload, and pop-the-cork. The second level is a living area, with basic cable TV, gas heater, laundry area, balcony access, and the ONLY bathroom, with slim access to the sink. The top level offers a king-sized bed with a larger dormer window allowing views of the farmland valley below. A night-time trip to the bathroom needed subtle stair lighting.The hot tub, located on the first level outside and around from the kitchen main entry door, was clean and accessible. It was private and offered soothing views of the surrounding farms and forests.If you suffer from stair aversion, and don't want to deal with one bath located on the second floor and bed on the third, let another single/couple take in all the scenery and fun with the goats...and the hot tub.Otherwise, get your exercise and enjoy a great base for exploring this beautiful Amish-lifestyle area of Ohio.

It is a very nice setting great view from the hot tub and my wife loved the goats. Close enough to everything we were trying to get away from without it being too close.

Relaxing

I booked the house as a surprise for my girlfriends birthday. Eli was super nice, the house was very nice. We are already planning another stay for later this year.

It was great! Love the hot tub and it’s actually pretty spacious and overall nice place.

Cute and unique little cottage, the kids loved running up and down the stairs! (If you have a crawler or toddler the stairs would be a challenge, there are no baby gates.) We will definitely be back when we need another get away close to home!

I stayed here a few years ago and again recently, both trips were great and this rental doesn't disappoint. We'll be back!

Beautiful place, only thing bathroom was way to small, and not enough light

Absolutely stunning. The house was quaint and host had a fire going and Christmas tree on when we arrived. Such a great addition after our 10 hour drive. Highly recommend a trip to Ohio Amish country.

The property was clean and well put together. It had a fantastic wrap around porch with great views.

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. We loved staying somewhere that has a king size bed. The cottage is nicely decorated and has everything you need. Our host was quick to respond when when we had a need. The views were breathtaking. We enjoyed the deck and the hot tub. If you don't mind the stairs this is a great place to stay. It's not secluded. There are houses nearby, but it was nice and quiet.

Cant say enough about our stay at the Grand View Cottage. Breathtaking views, outstanding sunrises, convenient to everything. Just a perfect stay. Eli was a perfect host and can't wait to coffee back. Thank you so much.

Me and my mom traveled here to celebrate her birthday and visit Amish country! This was a great place to stay. Despite a couple of houses being close, it was very private and quiet! The house was clean and so cute and the hot tub with an amazing view was the cherry on top! Definitely plan to return in the future!

The property is lovely and quiet. We enjoyed the hot tub immensely. The goats and fish were fun to watch and feed. The house is immaculately clean and decorated very nicely. We will be back!

This place was very nice. It is vertical but it was very cool. We don’t mind stairs at all. The views and the porch were awesome. It was very peaceful and it seemed pretty centrally located to all the activities we did. Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend for anyone that don’t mind stairs.
