Region: Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.

Town: At the western end of Cornwall's coast, Flushing is a charming seaside town. Falmouth is just over the Penryn River from the settlement of Penryn, which makes it an ideal starting point for a day of coastal exploration. With the port established by the Dutch in the 18th century and the Queen Anne style mansions erected by ship captains in the past, you can expect to witness lovely and unique architecture that is suitable for seeing at any time of the year. If you're looking for something a little more upscale, you may dine at the RNLI Fitzroy Barometer, which serves as a reminder of the area's maritime past.

We arrived in the evening in torrential rain and couldn’t find the key safe. We did not know that we had to enter through a door leading to the back door. The housing manager told us after we called him. The cottage is beautiful renovated and very comfortable. With lots of great amenities in the village and area. The welcome package was very appreciated. Thank you. However the heating was very random and during our stay even tho we asked the towel rails we’re not turned on. So we couldn’t dry our bath towels or mat. Some days it was very wet and no heating in utility room to hang wet coats and walking boots. So wet boots while walking the South West coastal path was not good. The dishwasher did not have its cover so was very difficult to use with out injuring fingers. Having said all that it was a very comfortable and great place to stay. Location good for both exploring the village and going further afield. Loved walking to Flushing beach with our dog. Overall a really lovely home to stay in and would recommend.
