All appliances were accessible and clean…easy to use. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spotless. Amy was always very quick with replies to any question, even providing extra helpful information. Many places were within walking distance which we loved. The view from the deck was lovely and on cool evenings we could close the sliding door and still enjoy the view!We highly recommend the Sunshine Shack.

The house was beautiful. Great views. Short walk to the beach. Host was great at communicating prior to and during the stay. Perfect setting for girls weekend. Would definitely stay here again.

The Sunshine Shack did not disappoint! What a precious and charming property that made for a memorable stay. We were celebrating a friend of 30 years 65th birthday with 7 friends. We all loved the comfortable, clean, beautifully decorated and well-appointed cottage and the relaxing and convenient location.The host was very responsive and attentive. Everything was as explained, and the cottage had everything we needed to enjoy a few days together with ease. We enjoyed a few walks on the beach, visits to Wells and Ogunquit and a play at the historic Ogunquit Playhouse. The location was perfect and the outdoor deck was lovely to sit out on and enjoy the sound and view of the Atlantic Ocean. Absolutely perfect escape, we highly recommend!

The place is lovely and very close to the beach. There was a snafu with the password/wifi that was resolved. Couldn't watch TV because the remotes were not with the correct televisions, and the television settings had been changed. After all the activities, it would have been great to watch a movie with friends. The owners resolved this after our stay, and I doubt it will happen in the future. Just an FYI to future renters. -The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had what we needed. The fireplace outside was lovely. Great upper deck. Directions and entry instructions were clear. I would recommend this place.

Our 3-generation family had a great stay at the Sunshine Shack. We especially enjoyed sitting on the deck and taking in the ocean view.

Absolutely heavenly view the home is so very cute and clean. Easy walk to moody beach. Walk along the shore all the way to Ogunquit was my favorite. Packing the car for a day at the beach with kids not fun but small price to pay for the 24/7 beach environment the house gives you

A perfect house for our group to enjoy nearby Christmas by the Sea. easy check in process, clean and as pictured! Need to bring own linens or pay fee for linens- could be a bit more clear on listing but otherwise no issues.

Wonderful stay at the Sunshine Shack! The pictures don’t do it justice! We had 5 adults and one 4yo. Lots of room to gather for meals and games. Cozy gas fireplace, Kitchen and house, clean, modern and well stocked! Beautiful location looking out over Gulf of Maine. 10 minute walk to the beach and easy drive into Ogunquit center. Amy was very responsive and checked in on us to make sure we settled in and had any questions. We would all highly recommend this home for a family getaway! Thank you Amy!

The house is on a nice quiet street, with a longer walk than we wanted, but still only around 7 minutes to the first public access walkway for Moody Beach. The listing stated there was a hot tub - that was a mistake, but nothing we would have used anyway. If you’re looking for one though, it’s worth noting here that the listing is inaccurate. Our only complaint are regarding the quality of the beds - they were very cheap and thin.

Amy and Ned were so accommodating and let my family checked in early so can unload our refrigerated food in such a hot day. They also responded to my questions so timely. I felt in love with this cute beach house the moment we stepped in. The house is spotless, bright and equipped with all the necessities. The best part, it’s walking distance to both the Moody Beach and Crescent Beach. I actually like the fact the the sliding door was missing the screen because I can leave it open to feel the ocean breeze and listen to the wave crashing the nearby shore, and surprisingly no bugs at all. We love this place and hope to return in the near future.
