Stayed May 17, 2025Very, very clean, cozy and comfortable! Brand new washer and dryer; good oven. Well-stocked kitchen. Tyler met us as we arrived to show us around and answer questions...really appreciated that! Two highlights: the water view (lobster boats!) from the covered porch, and gas fireplace that turned on with a press of a button (Maine mornings can be chilly, but the fireplace warms everything up nicely). Convenient location, yet set back into woods so very quiet. Heard owls at night!We also met the owners and they are just lovely. They take pride in Water's Edge and it shows. They were so welcoming of our little westie, too! Would definitely rent again.

Stayed Aug 10, 2024The best part was sitting on the porch watching the boats go by. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need. In the description of this house there should a notice that it is not handicap friendly. You need to go down big stones to get to the front door and the stairs to the two bedrooms are steep. The living room had inadequate furniture to sit comfortably. Considering the price to rent this house for two weeks, it should have included linens and towels too. However the location was ideal.
