The place was perfect! We traveled with grandparents, two couples with children and a single adult and felt we had plenty on room to spread out. I didn’t think the pictures did it justice! The views of the lake were breathtaking, especially at sunrise. The yard was big and flat enough for the kids to play soccer. There was a game room in the heated garage with a large tv, couch, pool table, air hockey table and a few other games! We visited in early October and the heated pool was great for the kids. The bunk room and room with two singles beds were downstairs and the remaining three bedrooms were upstairs. Each bedroom had its own bathroom which is nice with a large group of people. We drove to Niagara Falls for a day and it was an easy hour drive. I would highly recommend!
We are a group of 12 - 14 middle-aged ladies that go away annually somewhere different each time. This is by far the favorite of the majority of us so far, it was huge and gorgeous each bedroom nicer than the next and each with its own en suite bathroom. The only con I'd say is it's SO big and the main living room is sort of in the center so noise doesn't absorb well, for example if someone shuts a door in the house everyone hears it. Super comfy beds, and warm duvets, we didn't get a chance to have a fire and hang outside as the weather wasn't cooperating with us, but never know we may be back and give it another try. The added-on games room was a great idea, I got a number of high scores on the vintage golf video game. Played some air hockey and pool as well. Cell phone service is not the greatest but that's the area it kept thinking we were in the States at times. Should be disconnecting in a place like that anyhow.
The house is big and impressive! Loved having bathrooms in the bedrooms. The view from everywhere in the house was spectacular! Lots of spiders and webs in the house so it could have been cleaner but understand that some of that comes with living on the water. Pool was very clean and great temperature. Matt and Brian were quick to respond to our questions and were easy to deal with. Great holiday!!
Our family always takes a summer vacation together. Normally the beach in the states. As July is our normal vacation time, we decided to come north. Very nice house, well laid out, clean and supplied. Swimming pool was great for the kids, but nothing to enjoy on the shore, other than the view, which was wonderful.
A perfect getaway in the perfect setting for a long overdue family get away. There was something for everyone and the Property Manager was very accommodating. A little pricey, but after many obstacles and a pandemic, family time, the laughter, the love combined with the layout of the property and environment was Priceless.
Such a beautiful place for our family and friends vacation. The kids had a great time in the heated pool and walking down the steps to the lake. The adults loved the hot tub and games room. Great views from the cottage. Communication with the owner was quick and easy. The kids miss it already. Highly recommended.
Beautiful and spacious, indoor and out. We truly enjoyed our stay.
Spacious, clean and quiet - along with beautiful views and helpful owners/management. I would book again - and I am picky!
