Waterfront cottage on 10 acre bluff overlooking Lake Michigan. Very Private,Pets

This was an amazing property with fabulous views of Lake Michigan! We found it very well stocked and inviting to stay in. The woodwork and personal touches to this cottage are gorgeous. The weather was a bit unpredictable but it was fun to watch a storm move in, and we enjoyed eagles, ship-watching, and endless clouds changing from minute to minute. We took our disabled daughter (who is ambulatory) with us but the bathroom being 10 steps down from the main living area and 10 steps up from the lower bedroom floor was difficult for her. So even though it states this on the description of the property, we were not quite prepared for it. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was lovely! We took our 2 dogs with us and the house/yard was very accommodating for them as well. It really is a gem of a place!

We had a wonderful time. The view was terrific and Kate is a wonderful host. The cottage was well equipped, and immaculate including a beautiful wildflower arrangement. 10 out of 10.

Our second visit to this lovely cabin in the woods and we brought the kids this time. They loved climbing up and down the path to the “rock beach” while we took in the incredible views from the porch. Many hours spent playing board games and lounging on the well-appointed main level, while the bedrooms downstairs were clean and comfortable. Cabin was stocked with everything we needed and host Kate was very communicative and helpful. Also a great location for exploring the cute surrounding towns. Hope to come back again soon!

The word that seems best to describe is “magical”Not only one of the most spectacular views in Michigan but in the US! When you walk in the front door the view will overwhelm you.Our time there will not be soon forgotten and we are already planning a return visit.

This is a very special place to unplug and decompress. The deck and lake views are unmatched! So peaceful and serene.

Perfect for unhooked solitude with incredible views of Lake Michigan, nature and sunsets. Beautiful drives to wineries, Sleeping Bear Dunes, local eateries, Leland, Lake Leelanau, Norhtport, Glen Arbor and Sutton’s Bay. One of the most relaxing visits ever. Great Host!

Amazing location and great cottage. Hosts are helpful and easygoing. Fantastic views and beautiful walk to the beach.

From the idyllic approach to the house to the expansive view from the treetops, our stay here was rejuvenating and restful. Days spent gathering petoskies and beach glass followed by music and family game nights. Daily walks with the dogs revealed constant wildlife sightings and driving around exploring the peninsula was full of natural beauty. The rolling hillsides, pretty cottage gardens in town and the water as the backdrop made every drive a delight. Hours spent on the deck just listening to the wind and the waves were the highlight. We literally felt like we were living in a treehouse!

This is the ultimate Lake Michigan getaway! The views were stunning on the deck and inside the house. The property is gorgeous and the house was super clean, comfortable and immaculately decorated. our host was very informative, responsive had positive communications with us throughout the day as needed! . The energy was positive peaceful and I felt one with nature.. I will return ASAP!

We had an amazing stay at this property, it truly feels like a very special place. The home is lovely and cozy and our pup loved the wooded area. Beautiful sunset views!

We have stayed at this cottage annually for a number of years. While it has everything we need, we especially love the incredible quiet and privacy it affords. This year our visit overlapped with the spring bird migration, and our week was awash in bird song from the more than 90 bird species we saw in Leelanau. We surely hope to return!

We spent several days here enjoying the views of Lake Michigan and the quiet of the surrounding nature. Very private location where all you will hear are the waves, wind, and birds. A great place to slow down and reconnect.

The perfect destination to unplug and take in Michigan’s peak fall colors. The view of Lake Michigan is second to none, and Kate’s communication was stellar. Looking forward to coming back again.
