Waterfront Cottage in Mid-coast Maine

Our stay at the cottage far exceeded our expectations in every respect. Boasting a superb location and exquisite interior design, the cottage reflects a meticulous attention to detail in every corner. Its artistic layout allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the breathtaking scenery outside the windows, admiring the views from a multitude of vantage points.The cottage was stocked with an incredibly comprehensive array of amenities. Throughout our eleven-night, twelve-day stay, everything we needed was readily at hand; indeed, the experience even taught us a trick or two, offering insights into how to cultivate a lifestyle that is at once poetic and pragmatic. As our departure approached, we felt a deep sense of connection with the hosts—whose generosity in opening their home to us granted us the privilege of experiencing this beautiful cottage firsthand. We genuinely felt their warmth and hospitality, as well as their profound pride in the cultural philosophy they convey—through this very cottage—to travelers like us who pass through their lives.

Everything is well maintained and thoughtfully arranged so you immediately feel comfortable and at home.The setting is stunning: peaceful, right on the water, with gorgeous views. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to slow down, breathe deeply, and just enjoy the beauty around you.Whether you’re looking for quiet time to recharge or simply a beautiful spot to enjoy midcoast Maine, this cottage is ideal. The cottage was perfect. Immaculately clean and a wonderful location. It has all the cooking supplies you would need and the layout was just what we needed for two people. The location is quiet and very safe with wonderful sunsets on the river. We stayed for 5 days and did site seeing down all the harbors and inlets from Rockland on south.

We found this property perfect for our 4 night get-away....not just the beautiful, restful location but every detail of a rental (and a home) has been addressed! Communication was quick and all went smoothly. We'd definitely return to this property. Sitting in the side garden overlooking the river was such a treat as well as so many things to do in the area.

Wonderful spot with everything we could have possibly wanted. It was fun watching the sunsets each evening. This property was centrally located for all of our travels!

We really enjoyed our stay at this charming little cottage situated right on the bay. The renters thought of every detail, from the tasteful decor to the wonderfully stocked kitchen and bathroom. There’s even a waffle maker in the kitchen and a washer/dryer in a closet by the bedroom. Sara was an excellent communicator and the cottage was clean and so comfortable. Highly recommended!

The cottage is so cute and was warm and welcoming. This is our second time back and we loved more the second time around! It’s so cute and comfortable with views that can’t be beat!

We had a wonderful stay at this coastal cottage in Edgecomb. The space was beautifully decorated, clean, and had all the amenities we needed. As the weather was cold, it was nice to still be able to enjoy the view of the water from the coziness of the cottage. Sara was great with communicating everything we needed to know about the cottage and our stay. I would definitely recommend a stay at here for anyone looking for a quaint and comfortable getaway in Maine!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sarah's cute and very comfortable cottage which provided a great base for exploring the area as well as doing some remote work. The cottage is beautifully styled and well equipped for a most enjoyable stay. Sitting in the garden enjoying the nightly sunset was a highlight. Highly recommended.

We loved staying here. The place was so quaint, clean, fully stocked with all essentials. Nicely decorated. We loved the area and the waterfront location. The community was quiet and was a peaceful spot to return home to at night after a full day exploring.
