Stayed Aug 2, 2024We were quite disappointed with the house and the cleanliness. The towels were all damp when we arrived and had a musty smell to them. The table and counter tops weren't wiped down, night stands had stains on them, the sheets had hair and pretty much every corner in the house had dead bugs, spider webs or dust. The fridge could use a good clean as well as the kayaks which had nests of dock spiders on them. Overall pretty disappointing considering the huge cost and cleaning fee we paid.

Stayed Aug 29, 2025Property was amazing. Just an fyi that maybe the cleaning staff should be advised of. Some of the rooms had a faint urine odour. There was cobwebs and dead bugs in the top corners of some shared rooms. The cloth hot plate was very dirty (dried egg on it) and BBQ was unusable as it was very dirty.

Stayed Aug 15, 2025Was a very lovely cottage! It was clean and very spacious. I just wish the porch had a walk down toward the lake and the grill was slightly cleaner but other than that the property was lovely!! Highly recommend staying here and the owner was very responsive with all of my questions and inquires!

Stayed Aug 19, 2024We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the house, only two issues, BBQ was in need of a clean, only used it once due to this. Water pressure was terrible, especially as there were 8 adults all having showers so that was challenging. Location on river was lovely, we had a fire every night, it was lovely to relax and unwind.

Stayed Jul 16, 2024Awesome place, river was beautiful with great fishing. Could have used some cleaning supplies as we like to leave a place as we found it. Nice quiet neighbour hood with easy acces to Huntsville only 5min drive.
