Waterfront Bethany Beach Cottage, Walk to Beach, Fish, Kayak - Dewey Rehoboth

Beautiful property to relax and enjoy God's creation. We loved the back deck and also how close it is to the beach. Jason was very helpful and responsive.

Great time, perfect location! We spent a long weekend with three other adults who were visiting BBDE for the first time. The location was great for spending the day at any of the area beaches, plus the ocean beach is just a half mile walk from the cottage. The cottage is just as described and pictured. Really nicely renovated place with comfy furniture and everything you need for a beach trip. Beautiful scenery, walkable area. Great communication throughout the process. We'd definitely stay here again!

Beautiful location on the bay side. Lovely sunsets and wild birds in the bay. You feel like you’re staying in the middle of a sanctuary. Home was large and well stocked and beds were comfortable. There is nothing we needed. Lots of standard things you need are there. Hosts were very accommodating. Would stay here again.

My friends and I had a wonderful time, despite the long weekend of cool temps and rain. We had all we needed and were very comfortable. Great communication with the hosts. One note... if you are like me and neglect to read the instructions before arriving, you must bring linens and bath towels with you or rent them. If you are like me and arrive at 8pm at night and figure this out, don't panic! The G&E Hocker's Supermarket in Bethany Beach sells cheap beach towels, 6 packs of dishclothes (for washclothes) and sheet sets for around 25-30 a piece (LOL).

Lovely property with terrific views of marshland, birds, water. We paddled with a provided kayak, biked with furnished bikes, and spent many happy hours on the back deck. Very helpful host, nicely designed house - everything super-clean and comfortable. Highly recommended!

This house was perfect. It was spacious, clean, and very well equipped. The views of the marsh and bay were spectacular. It was so relaxing to sit on the back deck and watch the wildlife. It was a short walk to the beach and we enjoyed watching the fishermen along the way. We will definitely be coming back again.

Great weekend; great place to stay! Everything was as advertised. Jason was very helpful and prompt to reply to questions. No problem with check-in. Plenty to keep our teenagers occupied even though it was off season.

Beautiful home with spectacular views. Great fishing spots in a serene neighborhood. House was fully equipped with all the necessities. Will definitely be back.. my family had a great time.

Our family of four stayed here in the off season. The house was very roomy and we spent a lot of time on the deck bird watching. While the house is near route 1, you could not hear the highway and the surrounding neighborhood was quiet. Easy access to the beach, Bethany and nearby attractions. The kitchen was fully stocked but don’t forget towels and sheets. The beds did have pillows and comforters. Plenty of blankets too - it was chilly during some of our stay and we all used them. We would recommend this home.

Everything was as expected. It’s a very nice house with a lovely view. I wish I had brought binoculars to see all the birds that were over the marsh better.

What a lovely setting! Marsh views, gulls, terns, egrets, herons, pelicans, black birds, fish jumping in the marsh coves and rivulettes, stunning sunrises, quiet, peaceful, amazing. The entire places was clean, comfortable, and as expected.

Nice, clean cottage. Perfect for our family of 6. We saw some dolphins, also great to watch birds. Beaches nearby to the north and south.

Great vacation house! It was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location is central, making it easy to get to both Rehoboth and Bethany and a perfect jumping-off point for exploring the area, such as a beach across the highway that is minutes from the property. We liked being in a gated community since it felt safe and quiet, and the recreation room was a huge hit with my son. The host was responsive and made everything simple, and we’d definitely stay again.

My wife a 3 children loved the place. Great location and excellent and responsive owners. I highly recommend this place.

I cannot recommend this location enough! Jason (property manager) was amazing. He answered all of my questions in a timely manner and was able to provide suggestions when I was looking for specific services. This was my first time in the Bethany/Dewey/Rehoboth area, and everything is so close together. You can have the beach, nightlife, and shopping experience all within a 25 min radius of each other. The house is so CUTE! Much bigger than it looks on the outside. All of the beds were super comfortable - as were the couches. House came with everything we needed (as advertised - i.e. plates, cooking utensils, sponge, dishwasher soap, etc). Very safe and beautiful area. The view from the end of the street during sunset is unmatched. The back deck also offers a beautiful view. We had two bird friends the whole stay. We went for a boat ride with Back Bay Tours and they took us right by the property - it was a fun surprise. The house fit 8 of us easily - the only tight squeeze was in the bathroom when we were all trying to get ready. 11/10, hope to go back again! :) I would upload pictures, but I am on my laptop and all of the pictures are on my phone.

We loved staying at this home. It had everything we needed, and was very relaxing. Don’t forget your binoculars (for some spectacular sea bird viewing) — actually we were able to watch a gorgeous heron right out the window! The owner was totally responsive: before, during and after our stay.

Great location. Secluded but close to everything. View out back of home and deck is amazing. Lots of seating areas.

Enjoyed the views of the marsh. Pretty sunset a short walk from the house. Appreciated the one-level living and walk-in shower with seat for my mother. Well-equipped kitchen. Host responded quickly to any questions.
