Waterfront 1 bedroom and loft cottage with small private pier on Garrett Bay

Beautiful location! Comfortable cottage with everything we needed for a great stay.

Perfect communication with hostess - prompt replies bur not intrusive. Truly outstanding location right on the water. Quiet and secluded. Well appointed kitchen. Close to all the hiking and restaurants we love. Roomy enough. A shower with more flow would be very nice but probably can't be accommodated on a private septic system. Snug and warm in chilly weather. Good firewood provided for private fire ring.

Great communication from host. Beautiful views of Garret Bay. Had a fire pit, family games, and books. We appreciated the full size kitchen appliances and the comfortable bed on the main floor.

The cottage is in a beautiful location right by the lake, quiet, peaceful, and very relaxing.However, the space was a bit dusty overall. The kitchen is set up for cooking, which we appreciated, but the knives were extremely dull and difficult to use. If you plan on preparing meals, I recommend bringing your own kitchen knives.The property listing mentioned a grill, but when we went to use it, it was dirty and not usable, so we had to cook indoors instead.The beds were quite uncomfortable, and the bathroom has a pump system that requires you to pause your shower occasionally to let the water drain, which was inconvenient.It’s a nice place in a great location, but those small issues made it difficult to fully enjoy our stay.

The waterfront cottage was our favorite part of our trip to Door County. Terrific host. Beautiful cottage, property and right on the water. Would definitely return.

A lovely space to rest in between our adventures. So grateful that our furbaby was able to stay with us.

The cottage was the perfect place for our little family. Spacious for us even with our dog. Love that it is pet friendly! It was cold and rainy, and they had the heated stove on for us prior to arrival. Very cozy! Will definitely remember this place for our next trip.

Small but cozy cottage on a beautiful property on Garrett Bay near Gills Rock. Serene and quiet while we were there. Great access to the northern part of the peninsula.

This was our 2nd time staying here and it was a great experience again. Great cottage, great view and great host. We have booked 2 more trips here for this year. See you in July and October!!

Such a wonderful find! Right on the water and quiet. Jenn was very accommodating and the cottage is creatively furnished to instill a feeling of a secluded oasis. Highly recommended!

great getaway!

This place is great. Quiet and secluded with beautiful views and sunsets. Easy communication with the owner and no suprises. We had a great time and enjoyed fires by the lake and waking up to the sunrise over the lake.

A totally charming cabin with a rare beach access with its own dock! It is a magical location, and the furnishings were eclectic and comfortable. The host lives nearby and was very friendly and responsive to any questions or concerns. It is the perfect combination of peaceful, out-of-the-way seclusion yet just minutes away from Sister Bay, the County's most cosmopolitan village.

Cute little cottage tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the busier Door County areas. Perfect for a quick get-away. Owner is very responsive.

1. No real air conditioning. It was very hot when we arrived. It was advertised as having air conditioning but all it had was a room cooler up stairs. 2. Bugs and spiders. My husband woke up the next morning with one on his forehead. They were everywhere. On the kitchen counter and all over the floor, bathroom, shower and toilet. The sewage was very strange. Had to push a button on a pump to make it drain. Shower backs up. No washer as advertised. We couldn’t wait to move out the next morning.

Lovely location and host. Beautiful views. Opportunity to use their kayaks on Lake Michigan but check to make sure equipment has plugs so you don't take on water.

Enjoyed the view, fishing, and the location. Recommend upgrading furniture and decor as it is dated and/worn. Pls identify or mark kayaks that are noted in the description so they can be used without disturbing others.
