Welcome to our waterfront open floor plan studio-cottage. Wake to panoramic views of Swansboro and the White Oak River. Fish, kayak, dolphin watch and enjoy the sunrise and sunset from the decks. Easy paddle to Jones, other intracoastal islands and to Swansboro for lunch. A ~15 minute drive will take you to the Emerald Isle beaches or Swansboro to walk the historic district and visit the many shops and restaurants. The property was spotless, beautifully maintained, and even more impressive in person than in the listing photos. Every detail was thoughtfully considered—from the comfortable furnishings to the charming pottery coffee cups that made each morning feel special, and the overall cozy atmosphere that made it easy to relax.One of the highlights was the stunning water landscape. The views were absolutely beautiful and created such a peaceful, calming backdrop throughout our stay. Whether enjoying a quiet morning coffee or unwinding in the evening, the setting was truly unforgettable.The location was perfect with a tranquil setting…close to Swansboro and Emerald Isle, minutes from Lowe’s Foods but far enough out for quiet moments and limited light pollution Communication with the host was seamless; they were responsive, friendly, and genuinely committed to making our stay comfortable.This was easily one of the best vacation rental experiences we’ve had. We would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quaint get away.

Stayed Dec 28, 2025What better way to wind down the busy holiday season than with a stay at this peaceful retreat! Located at the end of a gravel road in a rural enclave, this property has a quiet private feeling, although the owner is next door in case anything is amiss. Our stay was seamless: Communication was clear, the cabin was adorable, and supplies were stocked with everything from bandaids to a cocktail shaker. Oh, and did I mention the killer views? Couldn't ask for more. Thank you!
