Waltons Mountain Cottage - HOT TUB

The property was perfect. Lots of places to take walks in nature. Hot tub was clean and enjoyable. Bathroom is large with lots of fluffy towels. Doesn't have central air, but the unit they have cools the whole house quickly. Kitchen is well stocked, and the grill was an updated model.

Property was perfect. It was a few minutes from town but you felt like you were completely secluded.

The cottage was cute and fitting to our needs. My dislikes, the hot tub had a funky smell to it, there is only 1 parking space for cottage guests, and lastly the dryer makes an awful noise when running. I would recommend anyone who choses to book this cottage, do it thru their personal web page as it is cheaper.

The property was incredible! Clean and quiet with amazing views. John was a fantastic host! Would definitely stay again.

I like that there was plenty of parking. The remote area was well kept. Easy to find close via a vehicle to everything shops, restaurants, gas stations, grocery stores etc, I especially liked how clean the apartment was kept.

Great location, very private and quiet. No complaints at all but recommend the host purchase some more comfortable pillows.

Great Stay! The host was excellent, the property was great, clean, and exactly as described. We enjoyed the hot tub! The location is pleasantly remote, but not quite conveniently walkable to downtown Manitou. However everything is so close!

Walton's Cottage is conveniently located to downtown Manitou Springs. We chose to drive up and down the mountain to get to this cottage, but walking or biking is totally feasible. It would be a moderate to difficult trek for most people, I assume. It is located a quiet area, and allows scenic and peaceful views of nature. The private access to a hot tub was so key to our personal weekend. Hot tub was clean and well maintained. Although we didn't cook here, the kitchen appeared to have all the basic needs for cooking. Basic toiletries, towels (shower and hot tub), linens, and coffee were all provided. Communication with the host was easy and seamless. I left something behind and the host was quick to communicate with me via VRBO about my belongings. I really appreciate the care they took to get my item back to me! We can't wait to stay here next time we come to Manitou.

Very clean and well stocked. This is our 2nd time visiting Waltons Cottage. Its the perfect cozy little rental. The hot tub never disappoints and the location is perfect.

Cute little cottage in the mountains. We spent a lot of time in the hot tub. A great place to relax and disconnect from civilization for a bit. Host was very communicative and left us lots of helpful instructions.

Even though we were a little surprised by the mountain road to get to the cottage, it was a great spot. We really liked the closeness to Manitou Incline and the cottage had all of the amenities we needed for our stay. Easy access to the Springs, but at the same time you felt like you were in a remote spot. We had a wonderful stay.

We rented both the lodge and cottage for a week long family reunion (ages 20-94). The cottage not only gave us 2 additional rooms but additional refrigerator/freezer space, other food storage and the dishwasher also came in handt

We enjoyed the cabin very much. It was the perfect size for 4 adults. The cabin was well stocked and very clean. The area was quiet and away from all the hustle and bustle.

Great little cabin. Up on the hills away from town and the highway it feel nice and secluded but only a couple minutes from town. The bears are for real though! We saw multiple both nights, one even stopped by the front window to see what was going on!

Great location to downtown Manitou Springs. Clean cabin that has everything you need. Great host! Scenic views and great privacy while only minutes from all the attractions.

This is a wonderful place to stay that is cozy & quaint just up the hill from Manitou Springs downtown! The cottage had everything we needed & the communication with the owner & her family was exceptional! Loved having the hot tub just beside the cottage, which was an added bonus, as well as being able to park right outside the front door! Manitou Springs is a cute little town this is located on some very steep roads and some of them are narrow but we didn’t ever have any problems with running into another car coming to or from the cottage because it’s located on private property & a private driveway. I would definitely use Serpentine Drive to get to the cottage though if you want to avoid downtown traffic. My family consists of my husband & I and 2 teenage children and we all loved it! Would definitely stay there again & would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the area but without the hustle & bustle of downtown! We rented the big cabin and the cottage. It was perfect to be able to have both. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. The hot tub was great.

We had a fantastic trip as a father and son. The cottage was a great location and I would highly recommend for anyone wanting to see Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak area. We used the hot tub and grill a few times which made the experience very homey and relaxing.

We came down for a race over the weekend, the location was perfect for us. The house was spacious and the location of it was quiet and relaxing! We will be back for a visit to explore the town more as it’s super close to the downtown area and want to be able to explore more. The host was very communicative and the property was well maintained. Can’t wait to come back!

My now husband and I stayed with our bridal party for our wedding and had plenty of room, and a blast!!!

It was located in a great area with access to everything I wanted to see. The hot tub was a nice addition very relaxing. The air conditioning situation was subpar with only a single portable AC unit for the entire house. I stayed in August, which I’m sure is the hottest time of year, so maybe it would only be an issue for a matter of weeks in the summer. I was on the motorcycle so the road leading into the house is a little sketchy. other than that, it was a great stay

Pulling up to the property was disappointing. The pictures in the listing were not very accurate. The hot tub had almost zero privacy, not all the jets worked and it was old enough to be difficult to work. Parking for the lodge was next to the wall of the cottage. And the AC consisted of a portable AC unit that barely kept a 600 sq ft cabin below 80
