Morehead City, North Carolina
Great cottage located in a quiet family friendly neighborhood. Sidewalks on both sides of the street make this a great place to see neighbors and go for a walk. Walkable to shops, restaurants, music
I really enjoyed my stay. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming. Everything was nicely appointed and very clean. The cornered porch and fan were perfect for reading. I loved walking my dog from the house down to the docks where most restaurants are pet friendly. If you are looking for a great vacation spot close to everything in Morehead City I would highly recommend this house.
Our family really enjoyed our stay at this property. There is not a better location if you want to be close to the Morehead City waterfront. Beds were very comfortable and plenty of space for our family of four. It was a very hot July weekend and the A/C worked perfectly and was very comfortable throughout our stay. Highly recommend. Paige was a great host.
The house was just what we needed. It has all the amenities of home. We liked each having our own bathroom and although we never used it, it was cool to have the outside shower as well. We loved sitting on the front porch in the morning and in the evening hanging on the back porch with a view of the water. If you are looking for a modern updated place this is not for you. This was a fairly old adorable beach house vibe but with everything you need. We had never been to Morehead City before but I would definitely go back. The house is about 2 blocks from the main part of town which was so great. We were able to walk to get dinner and ice cream. It also happened to be 4th of July and the town was all out to watch the fireworks from the waterfront. There was also 2 different inlet beaches to walk to. The town is super friendly, dog friendly and safe. In the morning you would see lots of people walking and jogging and walking their dogs. The main beach Atlantic beach is just right over the bridge, maybe a 10 minute drive. And there are lots of other places to explore. We spent 1 day in Beaufort as well, just one town over. Our host Paige was quick to respond to all my messages and she even let us drop our stuff at the house a little early. I would definitely use this house again if we were to go back.
