Stayed 5 nights. Comfortable, clean, locations is great and tranquility of property exceptional! Host were present and responsive to all needs. Highly recommend this property. We will be back. Rich and Sonya
We loved our stay at this cute studio cottage. It is centrally located with wineries, dining, and shopping closeby. It is very quiet and a nice place to come back to after a day of adventures around wine country. The hosts were very nice and communication was great. They provided welcom snacks and wine which were greatly appreciated after a long day of travel to get there. I enjoyed walking out to pet the horses which was an added bonus! This place was clean and well stocked with anything we would need. Would definately stay again!
Great location for Sonama County and Wine County adventures. Quiet and peaceful property. Lovely and comfortable accomodations. Enjoyable hosts. Would definitely stay here again.
My husband and I have stayed in many vrbo's in the last 10+ yrs. I have to say that this is the cleanest, the most wonderfully unique place we've stayed in. It's located in a quiet area surrounded by vineyards and our favorite wineries. My husband has been a wine connoisseur for over 40 years, and we've grown to love our annual visits to northern California. During our 5-day stay, we visited 7 wineries! When we weren't visiting wineries, we were able to enjoy the Boarders Lounge with all of its conveniences and amenities. We especially loved visiting the horses and picking the blackberries that were in season and plentiful. Henry and my husband are about the same age and became fast friends, enjoying long chats whenever they saw each other. Julie and Henry are excellent hosts. We enjoyed our visit so much that we're hoping to stay again next year.
Great location - peaceful and relaxing spot away from it all yet a quick drive to restaurants, shops, wineries, the coast and more. The owners have truly thought of everything you could possibly need. Loved our time here and would highly recommend.
What a great stay outside of Sebastopol at this wonderful, very large studio. Julie was such a friendly and thoughtful host (Henry was out of town). When I said we needed a cooler, she provided one of her own for us. There were so many other thoughtful touches such as wine and snacks. The bed was comfy and there were extra blankets and pillows, comfy couches, and a great TV! A nice walking trail is nearby and the horses on the ranch were fun to visit. There are plenty of wonderful wineries nearby and Healdsburg is only about 20 minutes away. Thanks for a great time, Julie!
Peaceful, relaxing, all the comforts of home, yet in a beautiful setting away from the hustle & bustle. Julie & Henry are the most gracious hosts and truly made us feel welcome and comfortable. I hope to return again soon!
Julie and Henry were wonderful hosts. Location was 20 minutes from almost anything in Sonoma, great access to a walking trail, and the space was perfect for a long weekend.
Great hosts and location for wine tasting in Sonoma County!
I would give Location 8 out of 5 stars if I could. Quiet, private, and so close to excellent cycling and restaurants. Our dog Miles loved this place, with its fenced in yard and a pasture to chase the ball in. Julie was accommodating when it came to extending our stay (several times). I appreciate her efforts and her attention to detail. It made our stay delightful!
We came to get out of the winter of 23 snow storms. We live in the Sierras and would be totally snow bound if we didn't make it to beautiful Sonoma County. Then, the mountain passes all closed and we could not get home.....so we extended our stay at this beautiful place for another 10 days! EXCELLENT access to epic bicycle rides and all types of dining. Quiet, peaceful......and our dog Miles loved it here. I can not give this VRBO high enough praise. Spacious, private, and so comfortable. I will book this place EVERY time I'm in Sonoma County.
We had the most lovely time at the Ranch. Julie is an exceptional host that goes above and beyond expectations. Everything was cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed taking a morning stroll visiting the horses and walking the grounds. If you’re lucky Mellisa will be teaching a class you can watch and learn her next level horsemanship. The location is perfect. We would love to stay there again!
Julie and Henry are wonderful hosts! Upon arrival, Julie and Henry had a bottle of wine, cheese and crackers waiting for us. I asked Julie if the kitchen had baking dishes and she made sure I had what I needed. We brought our dog with us and they put together a container with dog blankets and toys! Henry invited my husband to take our dog to the horse arena where she could play ball and run. We will be back the next time we visit our family. Thank You!!!!!
Not great for big groups but as a couple it was a delight. Perfect spot for wine tasting, and a great “middle slot”, coast one day (Jenner) and over to Napa the next. Hosts are amazing, Stay!
Julie and Henry's cottage was perfect for our trip! It had everything we needed, and they gave us lots of suggestions for exploring the surrounding vinyards. We walked to three wineries and a restaurant, all within a couple miles off the nearby West County Trail. There are vinyards and apple orchards in every direction. The kitchen was well equipped for preparing meals, which we ate al fresco at the tables in the yard. If you like wine and walking, friendly hosts and comfortable accommodations, this place is perfect!
Cute cottage in an excellent location for wine tasting and bicycling. Wonderful host. We will return in the future.
5 stars all the way!! Julie and Henry are wonderful hosts, attentive, caring, engaging and warm. The property is a gem and the neighbors are just as special (hi Gil!). Best vrbo experience so far and I highly recommend this location.
This is a fantastic property with wonderful hosts! My husband and I recently stayed for a week of relaxation in beautiful wine country. Having visited the area several times before, we were looking for a comfortable place in the Forestville/Sebastapol area and the pictures and reviews of this property made it seem like a perfect fit for our needs. Upon arrival, it exceeded our expectations. The cottage is clean, spacious and quite comfortable. Julie and Henry are dedicated and generous hosts who have truly thought of everything. Having stayed at many VRBO properties over the years, we have learned that experiences and amenities can vary widely from one rental to the next. This cottage came equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely book again on our next visit to the area. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for an exceptional experience!
