Updated Twin Lakes Cottage, Walk to Lake Mary

Clean and welcoming :)

Visit from Chicago for a wedding. We were 3 couples. Communion was prompt and allowed early checkin. Would def stay again. Thank you!

Check-in process was simple and easy.The property owner communicated well and was available if needed. The home was well furnished, comfortable and very clean. This is our second summer for this rental and our family was very pleased with everything about this cute house near Lake Mary.

House was very comfortable for two families. Location is close to Lake Geneva areas. The only issue was didn't see how you could walk to Lake Mary. The beach was a good mile down the road.

House was clean and neat. Only stayed 2 nights and used the fire pit one time.

We really liked the house. Perfect as home base for our teen daughter and her best friend to take advantage of the high ropes course in Bristol, WI. The Lake Mary beach was a short drive away. I don’t know what the vrbo listing meant by steps from the lake. Clearly not for swimming, though. The only bummer. Although the beach at Lance Park was also really rocky and we would recommend a slightly longer drive to Silver Lake Beach where the bottom was sandy and once the lifeguards leave at six you can bring your inflatables into the water. Overall highly recommended!

Great house for us, enough bedrooms and bathrooms for us. Close to family to visit and sights to see. Enjoyed the outdoor space.

Perfect location. Within blocks of town and our fiends that live in twin lakes. Roomy and clean. Felt right at home. Weather did not permit us to enjoy fire pit or barbecue, nice to have those options. Appreciated the comfort.

The accommodations were very clean and well presented. We had no complaints and enjoyed our stay. Only thing was the bedroom with the double bed needed a password to access Hulu. We were able to find other channels to watch to it wasn’t a problem.

We loved our Little Blue House! Everything felt cozy, even the backyard and driveway, it was so convenient. It’s clean and safe and cute. What an amazing Stay- The people are nice, food was GREAT, and this is a great location from Wilmot.

Great quiet property. It was perfect for a travel softball tournament we had in Elkhorn. Very clean and exactly what you ask for. Beats sitting at a hotel anyday.

Twin Lakes Cottage was everything we needed for a short ladies getaway. The cottage was very neat and clean and comfortable. Plenty of room for us each to have our space. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio- would have liked to use the fire pit - as it was already for a fire- but it was way too hot. Very close to the lake. We highly recommend Sand bar and Grill for dinner and Manny’s Snack Shack were great and close by. We would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our stay at this nicely updated cottage. Close to town, the beach and other nearby activities. Great yard for fires and outside play.

It was fine- clean and what we needed. Could use a little TLC but overall it was ok.

We love Twin Lakes, having a long family history there, and I wanted to introduce the area to my sons. We were not disappointed here. This lovely house had all we needed for the perfect getaway. It was nearby both lakes and near town. Would suggest for a family getaway.

Pros: Updated bathrooms and kitchen appliances - Had everything we needed to cook! (pans, olive oil, seasonings, aluminum foil, ziploc bags, etc). Great space for everyone sleeping, super easy check in with the keypad. Had 1 board game and lots of movies on the tv (: Cons: Bring or buy your own fire starter to use the bonfire, there were 2 extra blankets but would have been nice to have some more for the couch! About a 25 minute walk to the beach (lance park) which was preeeetty small (google photos before you go!). You’re paying extra for a “lake home” but it’s not on the water and the local beach wasn’t all that.

Let me start with the positives. The house is updated inside and very cute. The AC works great and the basics were included. The drive to restaurants and stores were close, thank goodnessNow for the disappointments: The location was not within walking distance of the lake at all. I'm still confused where we would have swam in this lake. We actually drove to Lake Geneva to swim. The walls were super thin. We could hear traffic all night and our teens would stay up later than us and I could hear everything they were saying with the doors closed. We were playing games on the TV and I had to keep m telling them to be quieter bc I was afraid the neighbors could hear us. We had to play TV games bc the house only had 1 game (escape the room), no dice/playing cards. You will need to go to the store for condiments and seasonings as the ones provided seem to be leftovers from previous guests. I also emailed the host the night we got there with pics of things I saw wrong so I wouldn't get charged and never heard back.
