Unique, Romantic, Cozy, Island Cottage on #1 Beach in America

This is a really quiet, clean and ideally situated cottage! We really enjoyed our stay. The bikes, kayaks and fishing rods included with the rental really enriched our stay. We were able to walk and bike almost everywhere, including restaurants, beaches, coffee shops, and sightseeing. Hosts were super responsive and very kind.

It was the perfect island getaway for two.

The house was perfect and described exactly how it is. Very clean and very well equiped with everything you need for a great beach trip and much more. The owners were very helpful with great hints to what to check out and where to eat. My wife and i stayed for our Anniversary weekend and this location was perfect. Perfect location to everything but not crazy busy as soon as you walk out the door. We didnt get to use the bikes or go kayaking this trip because we spent most of the time on the beach. We also didn't rent their Jeep because we have our own. Driving out on the sand enjoying the sunrise/sunset and just relaxing on the beach was a great way to spend the weekend. We will definitely be back!

Well equipped kitchen. Lovely cottage and love that it is on Back Rd, where it is so peaceful Housekeeper checked in first day about making beds. She was such a delightful lady and so fun to talk with

This home was charming, comfortable and in a great location!

This charming cottage is an ideal place for one or two people. It has everything you need for a complete stay, all within a tiny yet comfortable space. Walking distance to most restaurants, shops, etc., however, beach cruiser bikes are available too! The queen bed was very comfortable. The linens were high quality. The space was very clean. There a porches upstairs and downstairs on both sides of the cottage with comfortable chairs. I didn't get to use the outdoor shower but hopefully next time!

It’s a lovely place - well outfitted and in a great location. The deck out back is perfect having a few guests over. The balcony was our coffee spot.

This cottage is in an excellent location, within walking distance of most of the fun things to do in the village. There is a local shuttle stop right near it on the street as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here & highly recommend you check it out for your visit to this laid back paradise!

The place was quaint, easily accessible and exceeded our expectations. Although we did not have a water view, the location was perfect where it was. Everything on Ocracoke was easy to get to on foot or bike and the weather cooperated perfectly.Our biggest negative is that we did not have more time... maybe next year!

We had such a good time. Getting our large truck in the parking space was a little hectic but we managed. Your place was so cute. The location was great. Hope to stay there again.

The property truly is unique and it fits so perfectly in location and ambience! The owners were very friendly, communicative and accommodating! We were very pleased!

The house and patio are very comfy in spite of being small. The amenities like bikes and water sports equipment are excellent and make it a great value. We had some storms come through and were unable to take full advantage of these fun things but we will next time!

It is exactly as described, perfect for me and my husband! We were celebrating our milestone birthdays and wanted to go somewhere we've never been, so Ocracoke was perfect. Cottage is quaint, cozy, clean, and in a great location. We walked everywhere except the one day we rented the jeep (fun!) to go to the beach. Jeff and Wendy were so great about communicating! *Note, to anyone who has never been: we learned the hard way that you MUST check in to see if the ferry is running aftrr questionable weather. 😀 But it was an adventure.

Zillie’s is at a great location to access many of the islands amenities. Zillie’s Island Pantry is next door for a convent adult beverage or a few snacks. During the summer a tram stop is also just a few steps away but having access to the on-site bikes was a plus for getting around at this time of year. Kitchen had everything we needed for our weeks stay. The cottage is very tastefully decorated and cozy.

Cute little cottage with all the amenities. My husband was amazed at the craftsmanship. Loved riding bikes, although there was quite a bit of water in the roads from all the rain. I won't complain after what the western part of the state has witnessed. Great stay!
