Ok stay Owner fixing up the house, but there is a lot to do. The kitchen needs a major makeover. State of the art 1960. Bed in master bedroom needs replacing

Great home for family from Oregon and Michigan to meet to view annular solar eclipse. Nice base for traveling to gorgeous sites in southeastern Utah. (Valley of the Gods was stunning location for eclipse viewing!) Home was quite comfortable. Some beds a little nicer than others. Great nighttime viewing of Milky Way from backyard.

The house and beds were comfortable. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay with the exception of not being told the oven did not work, and no curtains in the huge living room window which heated up the house every afternoon. With a little TLC it could be a real vacation oasis.

Super easy to get there, lots of room for everyone. Oven didn’t work but there was an air fryer/toaster oven situation on the counter that worked. As the other reviewers mentioned, there is no AC but fans in each room. Most everything is closed on Sundays so make preparations ahead of time for food and groceries.

This house had the perfect space for our group. It was clean and well stocked. We were happy to be there during some nice weather as there is an ac unit instead of central AC.

This property’s interior décor is beautiful. However, the house is not summer friendly. While this property is advertised as having air conditioning, I would beg to differ. Technically, it only has one standalone portable swamp cooler for the entire house. I would hardly consider it an air conditioner. This home has lots of windows that are single pane and allow the home to heat up and this swamp cooler is not large enough or efficient enough to cool the house during daylight hours of the summer months. The swamp cooler, at best, may lower the temperature 10 degrees less than the outside temperature, and because of this, we could not just stay at the house for a relaxing day. The heat within the house is almost unbearable during the day. To top that off, you must keep the swamp cooler manually filled with water and it takes 50 trips to fill, not exaggerating. The property owner does suggest keeping the windows open, but the yard is not kept up and the overgrown vegetation of the yard attracts insects. Which find their way into the house and end up biting you. This is a very unwelcome nuisance. With all that being said, I would think that this place would be a great place to stay during the winter months.

The property is still being improved, but once the owner has a chance to add a few amenities and clean up the yard a little, it will be great. Owner was very responsive to our request and fixed a couple of small problems right away.

This house was perfect for our group of three couples. The view of the snowy mountains from the large living room window or the back door sitting area was awesome! There is no conventional oven and limited dishes which made cooking and eating meals here a bit challenging, but we managed. We especially liked the location, less than one and a half hours to South Canyonland National Park area (the Needles and Elephant Hill) , which we were thankfully able to hike. We started the hike at 10 AM, but they closed the road due to no parking availability when we exited 2 1/2 hours later, so plan to arrive early if hiking .There is a beautiful campground there and the Visitor’s Center is very nice as well. Newspaper Rock is just 30 minutes away and on the way to Canyonland National Park. It’s easy road access, no hiking required. The grocery store in town was fully stocked, no issues getting gas or food. Just south in the town of Blanding is the Edge of the Cedars State Park and Museum which was very interesting and informative. The town of Mexican Hat has an awesome state park called Gooseneck. Further north is the town of Moab and further south is Monument Valley. All within easy day trip accessibility. Overall I would recommend this home to family and friends.

Stayed here a few nights with our family. Very clean home and great furnishings. The bathrooms and bedrooms are recently remodeled and nicely done. Very quiet location in town at the end of a street.
