Stayed Jun 3, 2025The most beautiful and quaint cottage we have ever had the pleasure to visit. The hosts were so attentive and supplied kitchen staples for our arrival. Property is spotlessly clean as well. A real gem!!

Stayed May 24, 2025Beautiful and cozy cabin. The pictures don’t do the cottage enough justice. We felt right at home and enjoyed hanging out on the porch with the peacock! We are definitely going to rebook in a couple years and come visit again! The drive getting to the cottage was definitely an experience! I would recommend this cottage to anyone!

Stayed May 5, 2025Just. Amazing. This was our best place ever. Very private, and beautiful yard, well-cared for. The critters were very visitor-friendly, which is a plus. The hosts were wonderful and very generous with their time and assistance. The kitchen was fully supplied with not only cooking equipment, but some extra condiments and foods that we could use. They supplied us with fresh eggs, too. We were able to make bread and quiche from scratch from ingredients on-site.And the shower was easy to use, and stayed nice and hot. Bonus!

Stayed May 1, 2025From the moment we pulled up to the moment we left, this place and the hosts made us feel at home. Our toddlers loved the animals, especially getting to feed the donkeys carrots and the peacock bananas. We all felt more like extended family coming to visit than strangers renting a space. We only stayed for 2 nights but we all wished we had planned for more time at Turrock Cottage. When we come back, this will be our number one location, even if we have to adjust our trip itinerary to make it happen.

Stayed Apr 24, 2025Had a brilliant few days in this lovely cottage in a stunning part of Wicklow. The cottage has everything you need if you want to get away from it all but is also a great base for exploring the beautiful county of Wicklow. We loved all the animals who were very friendly especially Pluto the peacock who it was a thrill to be able to hand feed. The hosts Deirdre and Ciaran are lovely, friendly and helpful and cannot do enough for you. Would definitely recommend a stay here, you will not be disappointed

Stayed Sep 18, 2024Ciaran’s home was exactly what we had hoped and better! We were looking for the mythical Irish countryside experience and his home and property delivered! The home was super cozy, and the grounds and surrounding area were extremely peaceful and enchanting. You can tell Ciaran and Deirdre are true artists!

Stayed Aug 10, 2024We were warmly welcomed and had a wonderful week from then on. With great animals (including banana-loving peacocks), a great view over green hilly landscapes and a good starting point to explore the southwest of Ireland. Thank you very much for your time with you!

Stayed Jul 13, 2024Ciaran and Deirdre were welcoming and helpful. Best hosts and place ever to share a delightful and peaceful stay. We had lovely time in the cottage! It's like paradise. The cottage's charming and cozy and surroundings are spectacular and gorgeous. You can travel around very easily even in the very narrow roads. Listen to Deirdre's songs was magic! Let your soul sway to the traditional Irish music. She sings so wonderful. Peacocks, chickens and geese sound when arrival. They always come closer to get some food or attention. Same as cats, Juno the dog and donkeys. We highly recommend this place. It's really worth spending your vacation.

Stayed Jun 13, 2024Truly an enjoyable experience staying at this unique cottage. Our host arranged many extras to make us comfortable. Such a cosy cottage. I wish we could have stayed longer. And he was a wealth of knowledge about the area and the culture of that part of Ireland. We felt very welcome.
