Ultimate Lakeview Cottage Retreat: Hot Tub, Paddle & Play

Beautiful cottage with great views and an amazing property. Owner was extremely friendly and responded immediately to all our questions. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location for a snowmobiling long weekend. Direct access to the trails from the back of the property. Host was accommodating to late requests (guest and pet addons).

Excellent place for a fun vacation!

We made it work so it wasn't a major issue but were not warned of fridge and freezer not being cold so lost some ice cream bars in the freezer. There was a small freezer there so if host had warned to put frozen products there in first place we wouldn't have had to lose ice cream to learn. The hot tub never shut off nor could we open it entirely because cover too heavy but again made it work as were grateful it worked at all. Some extra communication beforehand would have been nice because if not for my partner knowing to turn off breaker the hot tub would have run the whole time. Although property was as clean as possible there were ants and 2 worm like critters that almost crawled into my stuff (again not the fault of the host but told me maybe cottage life not conducive to me). The washroom that best suited my needs was on the lowest level from where I slept so that was inconvenient and the stairs seemed a little treacherous as I was afraid I might fall if not careful but again made it work. I did like the pool table and the Netflix included to compensate for no cable TV. Also, the kitchen had some extra items not expected like wine vinegar which was a nice surprise.

I had booked this cottage for my son to stay over the weekend with his group of friends to celebrate his birthday. They were 9 and had the best time! The place was clean, full of fun stuff to do, like playing fuss ball and canoeing. There were enough rooms and washrooms for everyone. The host, Mustafa, was amazing. He was quick to answer any questions we had. You will not regret choosing this place

Beautiful property. One of our main reasons for booking was the hot tub that we didnt get to enjoy. A repair man was sent out on our last night there and said he had been told days before it needed service and we hadn't been notified it wasnt working or that the service guy was coming out.We also had to ask for the grass to be cut so we could enjoy the yard. For the showers, it was either really hot or really cold and you have to be quick! We could only flush the toilets a couple times an hour or they just wouldnt flush. I understand its a cottage, but with a group of six, these would have been nice things to know prior to booking. Food stuck on dishes and some dusting would be appreciated. In order for the upstairs to be a comfortable temperature, the downstairs was freezing cold, no covers on a couple of the vents.A speaker and ice machine is listed but not available. I also didnt see an xbox. Would have been nice to have the rest of the dock in the water as well. Nice lake for taking your boat out and fishing. Lots of room for larger parties. We enjoyed the outdoor seating and BBQ.

Great place! Had all the amenities. Very welcoming. Great location. Thank you to the host! Our family had a wonderful stay. Highly recommended. Easy access for manoeuvring our 24ft snowmobile trailer. OFSC Snowmobile Trail 179 was right out front. Hot tub was great! Beds were comfy. Very clean and comfortable. Dog friendly allowed us to bring our fur babies. Host was very attentive to all our questions.

We went to this cottage in February and it did not disspoint.Perfect little get away and nothing like soaking in the hot tub in the winter. Cottage was perfect.

The property was just as described and was perfect for 5 guys with 3 trucks and trailers. The marked OFSC trail passes on the lake directly in front of the cottage. Communication with the host was excellent. We enjoyed the entire 5 night stay.

Beautiful, clean cottage with everything you could want for a fun and relaxing vacation. It's a lovely, quiet location and the lake is so pretty with the sunset and loons. The host is friendly and quick to answer any questions.

We were looking to spend family time together and this property did not disappoint! The cottage was very clean and well laid out to accommodate the six of us. There is one queen bed and four doubles, two and half bathrooms. The pool, ping pong and fussball tables were very popular, especially on the first couple of days, which were a bit cooler. As mentioned in a couple other reviews, the waterfront is not suitable for swimming but the bay is quiet and perfect for kayaking and paddle boarding. The location close to Bancroft is also a plus. On one of the cooler days, our group went hiking at Eagle’s Nest, just a ten minute drive away. Overall, we had an excellent stay!

We stayed for 4 nights and loved every minute of it. In the middle of the forest, water front and with LOTS to do! This place was amazing and we cannot recommend it enough! The house is gorgeous with open concept and nice views. The owner was super responsive and very friendly! Hot tub, kayaks, canoes, life vests, and EVERYTHING you need inside the house, you couldn't ask for more!!

The property is great , adequate facility and space. Our stay was comfortable. host is great, bonfire and lake view amazing. I will return in winter. The cottage had enough pillows beds towels and basic toiletries and kitchen had all needs filled up. Deck is amazing , we saw some deers too around passing by. The only concern is the Lake water quality, shoreline and no possibility to swim at shoreline. Water at lake upto 30 feet is shallow to 5 and half feet or so. The lake bed is terrible, it sinks you in when you step in and every step is a challenge. you get stuck in mud or all the left over vegetation rotting down. Water smelled horrible . Lake is not meant for swimming I saw no-one in water across on other cottages. Saw people on docks but not inside water. My kayak flipped on 1st day and that is when I found out the lake situation, i did not even think abt going to water again.

Everything was as described and the host was very responsive. A very enjoyable stay.
