Stayed Jan 1, 1I absolutely loved my stay at Keeley cottage and hope to be able to return. The cottage is super cute, cozy, comfortable, and has an amazing backyard. It is located right in the center of one of the prettiest villages in the Cotswolds. It is also at the start of Cotswolds Way (amazing walk to Broadway!) and surrounded by scenic walks and National Trust properties to visit. I stayed for a month with my two dogs, and all of us were sad to leave. An absolute gem.

Stayed Jan 1, 1Whilst we enjoyed our stay, we did have some issues with the property . Wouldn’t consider it suitable for 4 people. The 2nd bedroom not easily accessible. No storage or facilities. The main bedroom was very basic ,the floor borders were verging on dangerous. Splinters and nails coming through. Shoes were essential. The bedding and towels had seen better days, as had the garden furniture.. The extension to the proper couldn’t be faulted.

Stayed Jan 1, 1An adorable home, fully equipped, to be based to enjoy stays and visits through the heart of Cotswold's. A well designed professional kitchen, a quiet garden, 2 quiet rooms, laundry room well equipped.... a perfect formula for a memorable stay on the main street of a lovely typical Cotswold´s town, Chipping Camdem We will certainly plan to come back....

Stayed Jan 1, 1Great location and lovely garden and a traditional period Cotswold cottage. The cottage had everything we needed and a few basic provisions given on arrival which was lovely. I didn't feel as if it was as nicely done as some of the previous cottages I have stayed in - particularly things like the cushions, bedding etc but that is a personal preference. I also felt there was a musty smell in parts pf the cottage but again that may be expected given the age of the building. During our stay there was building work going on next door which really disturbed us one day. I appreciate this cannot be helped but it did impact our enjoyment. We emailed the cottage contact to let them know but heard nothing back.

Stayed Jan 1, 1We have just thoroughly enjoyed a ten night stay at Keeley Cottage. It is a wonderful old cottage, with so much charm. The extension of the kitchen area and dining room has been done so tastefully, and provides such a beautiful area of light and space, that compliments the old and the new so perfectly. The owners have put so much effort and thought into what they have provided to make a perfect stay, and we could find no fault in that. It far exceeded our expectations and the photographs did not really do it justice. Chipping Campden is the most wonderful town to spend your holiday; just steeped in history and culture. We have holidayed several times in the area before and always just long to return. As dog owners we find there are very few places that are quite as accommodating of your beloved hound as the Cotswolds, including shops, restaurants and places of interest. The owners of Keeley Cottage also extend this welcome, with bowls, mats and treats on hand. The garden is completely secure and dog friendly. There are so many dog walks you can go on, and many places where you can eat that welcome dogs, both in Chipping Campden and the surrounding areas. Keeley Cottage is a very old property, and there are compromises you have to accept there. I think we were glad we didn't have to rely on the second bedroom, and the steep stairs and low ceilings would have to be for the more mobile guests. We found our bed to be on the rather too firm side, but a mattress topper was provided when we provided this feedback. We were very impressed overall at how promptly the management company and owners responded to any issues that we had. We recognise that mattress comfort is an individual preference, and other guests may not find this an issue. As other reviews have mentioned, you need to be aware that the lounge faces directly onto the High Street and that the old windows do not block the sound of people constantly passing by the window. In all honesty, after about a day we didn't even notice it, and nor did our normally anxious dog. Keeley Cottage is just a gem of a holiday cottage, and we felt almost honoured to share a little part of its history. We were very delighted to have been left a welcome parcel of food and a nice bottle of wine on arrival. We would not hesitate to recommend Keeley Cottage, but think that everyone needs to be aware that staying in a property of this age does involve a certain amount of compromise. Our thanks to the owners for our most delightful stay. We would love to return.

Stayed Jan 1, 1Had a great stay in the cottage - on an unusually warm March week. The kitchen and dining area onto the large, secure garden was perfect. The ceiling lights on the landing are a little low - could do with flush lights so avoid banging your head, especially when coming down the stairs from the attic room. But a minor thing...

Stayed Jan 1, 1We had a lovely long weekend in Keeley Cottage. It really did exceed our expectations, which were already very high after seeing the photos and reading past reviews. It was wonderful to walk in and see the Christmas tree and decorations all around, such a nice touch. Also, it was so nice to find a bottle of wine in the fridge, along with some basics like bread & milk. The cottage was so cosy with its log fire (which was much appreciated after battling Storm Darragh outside!) and the whole cottage was well appointed and a real home from home. It really is a perfect cottage in a perfect location, and we will definitely be returning!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We loved everything about this lovely cottage and enjoyed our time there. Our only quibble was that we never managed to get the second wi-fi router signal in the dining room.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We had a lovely week in Keeley Cottage, especially as the forecast predicted rain every day but we had nothing but beautiful sunshine! The cottage is in a great location, so handy to pop to the High Street shops for anything you need. The Chipping Campden ‘Open Gardens’ were on, so we got to see some fabulous gardens, houses and meet the friendly locals. There is everything you can possibly imagine in Keeley Cottage, so a real home from home. The Welcome Pack was very much appreciated, thank you.. chilled white wine, bread, milk, eggs, butter, orange juice and dry food in the cupboard. Wonderful meals at Michael’s, De Luga’s and The Broadway Hotel, lots of lovely provisions from Fillet and Bone.. great chicken pies. Went to The Cotswold Wildlife Park, Painswick and Rococo Gardens, Broadway Tower, Cotswold Lavender, met family at Naunton ‘Open Gardens’ and lots more.. had to stick to dog friendly places! Regarding the cottage, the only fault was the cold tap in the bathroom didn’t work, but it was fine. Also, in our opinion, it wouldn’t be big enough upstairs for two couples. Thank you for a perfect stay!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Chipping Campden was a great town to stay in and was an ideal base to explore the Cotswolds. The town had all the amenities you could wish for. Keeley Cottage met all our requirements & more. Very clean, well furnished and very well equipped. One note to the landlord - the cold water tap in the basin in the bathroom was very difficult to operate. Needs freeing up.
