Truly unique, one-of-kind, Artsy & Luxurious! Lake Travis retreat for two!

Beth was very welcoming and kind and the cottage was gorgeous and lovely. The property was also gorgeous! The location is a massive perk, too--being away from city life in peaceful quiet was exactly what we were looking for. Thank you, Beth!

Extremely warm and friendly hosts, the best I have encountered in my travels. The cabin was clean, beautiful, and charming. Ability to interact with nature right at the cabin was really neat. My husband saw a cardinal for the first time (we are not from the area) and the host provided us with snacks to feed the deer, which was awesome. Was a very serene and quiet place to lay our head at night after a long day of activity. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone I know, it was just fabulous!

The cottage itself was as described. Spotless! Adorable!! We were expecting to leave the cottage and go straight down to the lake as we requested a lake view not a lake accessible stay. One main factor that had us leaving 3 hours after our arrival was it appeared to have been just mowed and we tracked grass burrs ( stickers) in the cottage and on our shoes every step and consequently in our vehicle. We drove 5 hours to get there, Stayed 3 hours and drove back 5 hours to our home and arrived at 1:30 AM. Exhausted. I’m disappointed to say we wasted our money and safety and cannot fault the “appearance” of the cottage with the exception of a yard full of stickers. That part was very miserable as we had to use needle nose pliers to pull them out of our shoes and car floor. I’m sorry but this is the situation as it was.

The cleanliness of the cottage was supreme. There were cut flowers in the bedroom and bathroom. The place is absolutely adorable.

This cottage was just right for me to unwind and disconnect. The owners went out of their way to provide everything I needed for my 3 day stay.

Clean property and in a quiet area with deer and beautiful birds. Bed was comfortable and the property was clean.

This was a perfect place for overflow of our large family. My husband and I were able to slip away into a quiet retrest.

I was skeptical to stay in someone’s backyard but the property is quiet, private and offered a very nice weekend getaway. Beth was very informative and helpful and the tiny house had a lot of amenities and was super cute. My husband and I will definitely be returning!

Loved the cottage. Small and quaint but all you need for a little getaway. Tucked up in the hills away from it all but only 20 minutes from dining locations. My favorite part was the outdoor patio nicely decorated with plants and bird feeders. The area was a constant buzz of birds and wildlife. Deer grazed across the way and could be easily seen from the patio. Squirrels snacked on the seeds. A little fox visited and foraged underneath oblivious for a while of my presence. I could sit and watch the wildlife for hours!! The owners were very good at communicating and answering my questions. They had very good recommendations to restaurants which we visited.

This sweet cottage was one of my favorite VRBOs so far! Surrounded by the beauty of nature, the area felt like its own sacred space created for the enjoyment for whoever was fortunate enough to happen upon it. The cottage was equipped with everything needed for a getaway - and there were so many nice touches included. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place - I will definitely be back!
