Stayed Jul 26, 2025We had a fantastic time at Trout Lake Cottage. Matt, the owner, was very friendly and accommodating. The cottage was perfect for our family. It is simple and cozy. We loved swimming and fishing off the dock along with grilling dinner and enjoying s'mores around the fire pit.

Stayed Jul 15, 2024Perfect location on the shore of stunning Trout Lake with a private dock. Deep sand bottom for worry free mooring. Caught many fish during our stay including smallies, walleye and perch! Clear water for swimming and other water activities. Clean nostalgic cottage with all needed amenities. A beautiful yard with grill and fire pit. Ping pong table in the garage for rainy day time! Matt the host is so accommodating and friendly and respectful of privacy. He helped with launching and pulling the boat. We recommend this property and will be returning!!!

Stayed Jun 30, 2024The location was amazing! Matt was so nice and helpful. He was extremely helpful with getting our boat out to the launch. The cabin was cute and clean , the pier and outdoor space perfect. Will definitely go again. Had a fabulous stay!

Stayed Aug 4, 2023Host (Matt) was extremely accommodating and pleasant to work with. Helped get my boat in and out, quick to respond to any request we made. Wonderful and beautiful experience... Loons, bald eagles, clear water, sandy shore, great dock! Can't wait to get back!!
