Tree Top Suite- Beautiful walk to Hanalei Bay

Room was spotless and perfect for a couples vacation

We had the best experience celebrating our honeymoon and staying at the Tree Top Suite! The home was absolutely beautiful surrounded by nature. Definitely will book again!

We were in awe as we entered the property. A designated parking area was available. The property is basically one large room, with the bedroom down 3 steps from the rest of the house. But it is truly beautiful with all of the windows and plants that surround the house. The living room area was comfortable and the kitchen was functional with an induction plate for cooking. The small room has a place to hang up clothing and keep the suitcases. The bathroom has dual sinks and a good shower. There is a small deck to sit on, but we had rain daily and did not have the chance. A full line grocery store is nearby for your grocery needs. Also we did walk do Hanalei Bay via the path as noted in the notebook inside. You walk through a forested area and come out at a beautiful Bay Area. We were told the owners were out of town so we did not meet them and the communication was through VRBO. But everything was very clear in their notebook in the home.

Such a unique, serene property! Well-stocked with everything we could need. Awesome shower. Bed was comfortable, bathroom and kitchenette clean. Loved listening to the birds in the morning and the rain at night. We were worried about not having AC in June but were pleasantly surprised that the fan and open windows were enough to keep us comfortable. Convenient to Hanalei and Princeville and nearby beaches. Outstanding stay in Kauai! The photos of this uniquely designed and well-positioned casita do not do it justice. Mark, the owner and host, is an architect who lives in the main home, and his acumen comes through in the awesome design of this spacious little home. It was only a 7-minute drive into Hanalei town, making it easy to go back and forth throughout the day. For a small place this home is also very well stocked, with everything you need to cook simple meals and stock the fridge with snacks and leftovers. We super appreciated the beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler that were available. It even had amazing little touches like a red night light in the bathroom so your overnight awakenings weren’t disrupted by blue light. Easy parking, quiet and lush surroundings, and a comfortable bed. The perfect north side stay for a couple. We will absolutely be returning on our next trip!

Unique opportunity to stay in the middle of Princeville without the crowds!

The Treetop is a wonderful place to stay and it truly has a treetop view. At night, outside sitting on the lawn, one can hear the crickets and frogs speaking their language, a creek flowing, and look up you see a multitude of stars and satellites. We're certainly staying here next time around.

The Tree Top Suite is the perfect place for a couple to get away in luxurious and beautiful surrounds and yet be minutes away from all you want to see and do at the North Shore! The jungle view was a nice change for us as we live in the desert in Arizona. The hosts were very responsive to our questions. I highly recommend this VRBO!!!

Location was ideal–quiet neighborhood, near a shopping center, right next to the Haena state park pick up location. It was super easy to cook and just enjoy time at the place itself. The bedroom view was definitely the highlight; you wake up surrounded by lush greenery. Super unique and positive experience.

This place is wonderful ! Beautiful airy space with huge windows, overlooking a stream and surrounded by lush foliage. The beach was a cool walk away and it was in a beautiful neighborhood. All I can say is that they really did think of everything . Would recommend!

Very clean and cozy place.

Unique space in great location. However, would not come back due to lack of A/C. Could not remove dampness from clothes or bedding. Took on a camping vibe which was uncomfortable enough to not want to come back.

Feels private and immersed in jungle. Gorgeous architecture, comfortable bed, and spotless! Being a short walk from Nourish and a longer walk to the beach was also fab. We wanted a place to unwind and relax after the Kalalau trail and this bnb hit the spot.

This was a beautiful little place. We loved the forested feel and the privacy. The windows were amazing. The red light in the bathroom was a nice touch. The kitchen was very well appointed, and we loved the little outdoor space where we enjoyed coffee in the morning. The place was clean and felt safe, and check-in was straightforward. We wish we could have stayed longer. If we are back in the area, we will stay again.

Loved the room and neighborhood. The space is private, classy and tasteful and had everything we needed. Loved all the greenery surrounding our space.Just down the street is a breakfast outdoor restaurant with a fabulous view!! It's also where you can take a path down to the beach.We loved Hanalei. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your vacation rental in beautiful Kauai. Overall, we enjoyed our time, but there are a few things future guests may want to be aware of.The hot water runs out after about five minutes of use. There is a bathtub, but when we attempted to fill it, the hot water only reached about a foot before turning cold, which made it impractical to use.During one daytime shower, I noticed a neighbor to the right of the residence standing in place and looking into the house, which felt uncomfortable.We made sure to keep the rental tidy throughout our stay and cleaned the dishes before departure. However, after arriving at the airport, we were charged an additional cleaning fee on top of the original fee, which came as a surprise.We hope this feedback is helpful for future guests and the host.

Had a wonderful stay. Beautiful and private property. Worked great to walk to the Hā’ena State Park shuttle stop at Princeville Golf Club. Also, short walk to Nourish for breakfast with amazing views.

Such a gem of a place! This was the perfect introduction to Kauai!! The property was so perfect t for my husband and me to stay and celebrate our anniversary. Super clean, immaculate, airy and plenty of space. Everything is so close by… we loved eating at Bar Acuda and the Hanalei pizza shop was also amazing! We went to Hanalei Bay and Tunnels Beach, which were also so beautiful and picturesque. You cannot put it into words how amazing this place is!!!

This was the most perfect getaway for my husband and I as we explored Kauai for our honeymoon. We were worried about the lack of AC but it was honestly not an issue at all. The trees provide great cover and the fans took care of the rest. This suite was so clean and i DREAM about the rainfall shower to this day. Could not recommend this place more. Kay was amazing and our stay was PERFECT! thank you!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at the treehouse. The home was beautiful and more than we imagined. We loved waking up among the trees every morning and being so close to Hanalei. The beautiful shower, beach chairs and cooler were extra pluses! Hope to visit again.

Tree top suite was exactly as advertised, even staying in the warm month of August the ample windows and fans kept it comfortable. Rain showers at night were such a treat to hear too!The hosts shared directions for getting to a quiet beach just a 15 minute walk away, this was absolutely amazing! I felt very close to everything to do and see in Hanalei but with the serenity and views of this location I actually preferred not being right in town. Water pressure and rain-style shower was amazing.

We would ask to stay here again. Very very nice. I would say the best place we have had the opportunity to stay. 6 Stars.

Peaceful little gem when visiting the north shore

Amazing design and layout of this place, the bed is literally surrounded by windows and the forest. No problems with any of the amenities, loved every minute!

Our honeymoon stay was above and beyond all expectations. The home was beautiful and in a magical location with the surrounding greenery. The space was roomy and well laid out. It was easy to get to restaurants and beaches from the home. We would love to come back some day!

I booked because of the 10/10 for reviews and it did not disappoint! The property is easy to find and a great location for visiting Hanalei and the south side beaches. It’s private and feels like you’re in the middle of the jungle. The owners made the check in process and communication easy. Overall a great first experience to Kauai!

Tucked away on a quiet road with easy access to Hanalei and Princeville, this is the perfect place to enjoy the best of Kauai.

The property is immaculate and very well designed. Loved the small patio! Was just a short drive to the grocery in Princeville and less than 10 minutes down into Hanalei. Would definitely consider another stay here the next time we visit Kauai.

So close to everything. Perfect stay.

No AC in this place & the heat / humidity were horrific. Ceiling fans only stir the hot humid air. Couldn't comfortably be in the place until after sundown when temps cooled. There is no 'kitchenette' despite what description says. A hot plate, coffee maker, and toaster oven are not a kitchenette. By definition a kitchenette is a small kitchen w/ a stovetop, microwave, refrigerator, etc. Also there was very poor cell service. Property is located on the very edge of coverage per signal scanner & maps. Wifi was okay, but TV lost connection and required reconnection every time it was turned on. Odd user profiles on TV also confused the matter - 1 male and 2 female profiles were found. Former guests? Owner's family members? Who knows... There was no storage for clothing, so nowhere to unpack suitcases. Left them open on the floor. The existing refrigerator didn't cool properly. Freezer was okay, but fridge compartment barely kept water cool. Notified host and they responded quickly, but issue wasn't resolved. Owner brought new fridge but didn't install. We winged it another day then left. There was also black mold or mildew in the shower area. Don't see anywhere to upload photos of this or the other shortcomings referenced above. Wouldn't stay here again. We left 4 days into our 7 day reservation for a more well appointed climate controlled condo nearby. No refund or compensation was offered, but this is likely par for the course in Hawaii. We were just glad to be done with it.

This was a lovely stay. One of our most favorite vrbo experiences ever. Really unique cool architecture and a great vibe. Walk to the beach a huge plus! Hearing the rainforest from the treehouse was so nice.

My wife and I loved this place. It’s small, intimate and has everything we needed. It’s close to Hanalei and Princeville so it’s easy to get around. With the kitchen appliances, we were able to cook a couple of breakfasts and lunch so we didn’t have to eat out every meal. We would definitely stay here and recommend any other couples to stay here.

This was the perfect setup for a secluded north shore getaway near the Napali Coast. It was quiet, beautiful, and a seamless stay. The trail walk down to Hanalei Bay and the super quick jaunt to the Nourish Hanalei stand made this a special spot.

We absolutely loved our stay. The architecture and layout were exceptional. Some Frank Lloyd Wright inspired details. Beautiful plants and artwork. Host was very accommodating. Would definitely stay there again.

Treetops is and awesome place for a couple to relax, unwind and use as a home base for taking in Hanalei and the surrounding area. It was cool to walk down the road and find the hidden path to the beach. The owner gives all the details. And make sure you stop and get a bit at the cafe-amazing açaí

This property was located in a great, central location for our princeville stay. Easy access to anywhere we wanted to go, yet felt secluded and private. A little ac would've been nice, but we are from New england, so not as used to the warmer temperatures. Property was very clean and host was accommodating! Overall great stay

I was overall very happy to stay here. Inside, it feels like you are much more remote than you really are and walking out and down the street you'll find it's a truly wonderful location. The inside is quite nice as well and coming from a desert I loved the gushing shower. I would come back again without hesitation.

Our recent stay in Princeville was absolutely incredible. The rental was beautiful, spacious, and well-maintained, offering all the comforts of home in a stunning, lush setting. It truly felt like we were staying in the middle of a tropical jungle, surrounded by the sounds of nature. The peaceful atmosphere and breathtaking views made it hard to leave—we honestly wish we could have stayed longer! Highly recommend this rental for anyone looking for a serene getaway in paradise. We’ll definitely be back!

This home is such a unique and beautiful place to stay! You feel like you're in the jungle with lush greenery surrounding every view, yet you're super close to the convenience of beaches and stores in Princeville and a short drive to the super cool town of Hanalei. The rain head shower is awesome! There is no a/c which sounds like normally is not an issue, but the week we were there was extra hot with little breeze which did make the house a bit warm for our taste. (I should disclose we are from MT where there is little humidity, so we are possibly more sensitive to this than others.) Outside of that, our stay was lovely, the house is gorgeous, and the host was very responsive. We would certainly stay here again!

This spot is an absolute gem on the north shore of Kauai. We were really impressed with the space - the large windows, the open layout and wood counters, the large bathroom. It’s truly beautiful and relaxing. Kat & Mark were wonderful hosts, available if needed but offering tons of privacy. We honestly forgot at points that it was a shared property due to how quiet it was. I’m so happy that we decided to stay here vs. the usual resort accommodations - we would absolutely stay again should we return to the area in the future.

A truly outstanding property. It was everything we needed for our quick stay in Kauai. Perfect location and very clean. We loved how secluded the property felt although it was just in the back of the main property and road. Our favorite parts were falling asleep to the rain in the jungle-like bedroom or the shower which felt like a rainforest spa! I would absolutely stay here again.
