Travis House Granbury

The location was great. We could easily walk downtown when the weather cooperated. They had most everything you’d need. I didn’t find a skillet though so breakfast was a little difficult to cook. On our last night, we enjoyed the backyard fire pit and used the roasting sticks from the kitchen to make hot dogs and S’mores. We would have stayed in the yard longer but the sprinklers came on just after dark. There were plenty of blankets and pillows. The AC kept the house plenty cool. And the washer and dryer were handy to have.

Comfortable little house!

We had such a wonderful time. It was our anniversary trip and the house was a pleasant surprise. We brought our little dog with us and the back yard is fenced so it made potty time a breeze. It was wonderful to not have to get on an elevator and then look for somewhere with grass like at a hotel.The house was fixed so cute I loved the original old doors and stuff but I’m an antique lover. Overall , the house is just the perfect little house with a farmhouse vibe. The neighborhood was quiet and very close to downtown which made it super easy to go back and forth. We honestly never contacted the property owners because everything was working perfectly and we never needed to contact them at all. The house was well stocked with seasoning, cooking oil, sugar , creamer and even coffee pods. We didn’t do any cooking but everything was there if we had wanted to. The only thing I would have preferred would have been a regular coffee pot but it advertised a keureg so I brought my own pot and coffee. I would definitely stay here again.

The check in was easy and communication was great. The games were the best. My kids loved it.

Great little cottage for a weekend getaway!! Close to downtown square and restaurants. Nice backyard for cooler days and the cutest little game room for added fun!! We will definitely be back!!

The house and location were perfect!! We were a couple of life long friends that hadn’t had time with just the two of us in over 20 years. We basically just sat in the comfort of the living room and talked for hours. Bedrooms and bathroom worked perfectly for us. Neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe. Would definitely return for another visit.

This was a really nice place, about 5 mins walk from town center that has plenty of stores and restaurants. This house has all you need inside and is really well furnished. Outside fire pit too. Just a small note is the bathroom is accessible via the second bedroom- I was with family so didn’t matter. There’s even a playroom football team able. 5 stars!

We enjoyed our quick trip to Granbury and this house was great. We like the proximity to downtown and the cleanliness of the house! The beds are super comfy.

It had a lovely fenced backyard and outdoor living space that we enjoyed! The home is in a quaint neighborhood that is very walkable to the square for shopping and dining. Our hosts were very kind and communicated very well. Highly recommend!

Travis house in Granbury, Tx is located easy walking distance for dining and shopping and special events around Granbury historical square, yet far enough to not hear noisy crowds. We walked to watch Christmas parade and did not have to fight traffic and parking like the many folks who had to drive to square.

The property was in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of the town square. It was exactly as advertised and the hosts were welcoming and responsive, even letting us know to take our time checking out. The house has a cute backyard area with fire-pit and grill. The cottage was clean and the kitchen was well stoked with everything we needed. Overall a great little property close to the square. We would definitely stay there again.

Me and 3 other 40 somethings stayed the weekend in Granbury and had the best time. House was great! Walk to the square was a bit longer than we’re used to, but still easy and safe. Even made a fire in the pit and relaxed with a glass of wine! Only “complaint” we had was the bathroom barn doors. They don’t close all the way, come off track constantly, and one of the ladies got stuck in the bathroom in the middle of the night because the doors wouldn’t open. Would highly recommend installing a single barn door for better privacy and function!

Property was just as described, great job of renovation on it, cute and just the right size. King bed was really soft so had to move to the full size for support. With a dog, there was no grass but lot's of stickers so had to walk a ways to let her do her business. Didnt get to use firepit du to stickers in backyard. Close to square and lot's of activities. Good weekend.

We loved our VRBO in Granbury! Excellent location for walking to the square, dinner, live music. Very nice town & very nice people. Having only 1 bathroom & having to walk through a bedroom to get to it was a little odd, but we made it work. Loved the spacious backyard with horseshoes and the game room. This VRBO is very organized and had everything we would have needed. Cute house with good beds. We would stay here again.

Perfect spot to camp out while attending volleyball tournament .

This was our 2nd time to stay at this perfect little charmer. We love the big fenced in backyard. The firepit is a great place to sit and relax even in the summer. Everything inside is so well thought out and has everything you need to feel right at home.
