This excellent 2 bedroomed, 2 bathroomed cottage sleeping 4 (non-smokers) is to be found nestling in 1066 country, set in its own garden within the owner's grounds, about 1 mile from the beach.
Although only 40 yards from the village road, it feels miles from anywhere. There is an en-suite master bedroom, twin room with shower room opposite, and welcoming living room leading to 9m x 3m non-slip decking overlooking the countryside.

Stayed May 23, 2026Exactly as described on the website. The Retreat had everything you needed. Lovely place very clean, host very good and was around if you needed him. Trampoline was a bonus as were sheep in nearby field. Very comfy beds and would return again

Stayed May 8, 2026Clean, comfortable and peaceful bungalow, with friendly and helpful hosts. We loved having the outside seating area too, where most of the time the only sound was the birds.

Stayed Jul 18, 2025My mum, sister and I had a 3 night stop over at the retreat. We had a great time despite the weather. The retreat was absolutely fantastic. The pictures do not give it justice. Would also highly recommend the 2 sawyers pub at the top of the road. Great food great atmosphere made us feel welcome.

Stayed Jul 4, 2025An amazing property located in beautiful surroundings. The sheep are an added bonus.The deck is a lovely space to eat breakfast and watch the world go by and there are lots of lovely walks close by. Being opposite a pub that does food is a bonus and the proximity to the sea is perfect. Easy to find with safe convenient parking, the house had everything in that anyone could possibly want. Comfy beds and a superbly equipped kitchen.The hosts were absolutely lovely. We got to bottle feed baby lambs and nothing was too much trouble. It was nice to be able to have a chat about the area, the history of the house and feel so welcomed. I will definitely recommend and be returning
