Tranquil lakefront cottage with private beach, boat slip & fishing kayak access

It was difficult to pick out which property was the correct one, especially in the dark. A flashlight would have helped, as well as reflective markers.

We took the grandkids for 3 nights in this home. We actually met the owner and he was super nice and told us to contact him if we needed anything. Beautuful location. We all had a great time! The only issue was there is carpet throughout the cottage which is not practical being right on the beach. Also when we got there it could have been cleaner, the deck had so much sand on it and all on the stairs that we tracked in as soon as we arrived.

Loved the privacy, beautiful beautiful beach,the Water,it was so clear you can see the bottom. We booked again for next year

It was beautiful and private loved it there .the only thing is ac in kitchen didnt work well not very cool other units worked well,no propane in fire pit and lots of black ants ,otherwise it was great!

The living room and deck overlooked the lake and the mountains beyond. Kayaking on the the lake in the early morning with the morning mist on the water and seeing a loon calling was amazing happy place to be.

We booked this cottage last minute and were pleased with our stay. We loved the location and kayaks. Truly breathtaking beach with beautiful sunset views. Make sure to bring water beforehand though!

The location is superb and the home is clean and the check in was easy. The home is not large but feels larger with the outdoor space very relaxing. Would rent again for sure.

Overall, we enjoyed our time. A few things that need to be addressed, like the distance between the parking and house. You'll need a wagon, something on wheels, especially if you are older. Checking in process is a bit confusing, we had to call the 800 #. However, it's a beautiful spot, very quiet and peaceful. We would definitely recommend.

This delightful two day stay was a perfect getaway. The hosts provide a very well appointed kitchen, plenty of towels and comfortable beds. Loved listening to the loons as the sun rose over the lake while enjoying my morning tea. What a treat to start our day with a swim and finish the day with cocktails and appetizers by the fire pit. Missed our chance to use the kayaks but that will be an incentive to return.

My husband and I traveled with our 2 year old and truly enjoyed our stay! It was so nice letting our child play in our own little area in the clean clear water. The sand was great for digging, building sand castles, and laying out. The deck was great for hanging out on. There was also a picnic table with an umbrella and grill right next to the house. I loved that the gas firepit was on the other side of the house in an area that was also sandy and away from the other cottage. We were disappointed that there was no gas left in the tank so, unfortunately, we didn't get to enjoy that part of the house. The house was stocked with all basic things needed in a kitchen. A nice addition was the freezer that had an ice maker. The livingroom had a comfy couch with two recliners. Each room had an AC which would be great for warmer nights. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again!

Beautiful time. Perfect for a small family. Very clean and had lots of pits annd pans for cooking. (And grill) Enjoyed kayaking, fishing, floating in the clean clear water. The water entrance has some rocks so water shoes for people who may be sensitive , but we didn’t mind ! We loved everything about this place and want to book again !!

The immersion in nature. Beach right out the door. Sunset firepit location. Early morning kayak excursions around the bay.

Great spot on the lake. Perfect for a family of 4 with 2 kids. Unfortunately, there's a major plumbing issue that needs to be fixed.

Can’t beat the views. Overall quiet area. Soothing to listen to the loons at night. Sunfish can be seen swimming in the area to the right of the fire pit as you approach it at the rear of the cottage when the water is very still. We counted about eight of them. Plenty of chairs of different types including the rocking “love-seat”. Kayaks available. Just be mindful of power boats passing by unless you like the big waves they sometimes make! We found the kayaks a lot of fun to use. Big area around the cottage, various places to sit and get varied views. Nice picnic table with Umbrella too. Great place for a relaxing getaway!

Second time staying here at Bayside Sunshine. We had no neighbors for our whole stay, so it was very peaceful and relaxing. Pros: liked all the improvements made since last time (new carpet, 2 new chairs for seating in living room area, ACs in both bedrooms, etc.) The area and the views are spectacular. All the wildlife, the sunrises, the sunsets, the quiet - it was great. Cons: didn't seem quite as clean as last time. Ants (in the kitchen area specifically) were relentless. Appears that most of the corners of this place were skipped when cleaning too -- not the biggest deal, but it was noticeable. Also, I really missed the hammock that was outside on the sand last time I was here. Would love to come back and see another one sometime!
