Very old furniture with holes in Chair and Sofa, old smelling house, extremely loud during night and day because of honking trains (last one at around midnight, first one at 2.30am).
I loved everything about the experience. I definitely am coming back. Perfect location for me. My kids live in the Folkston area.
Fishing and exploring the Okefenokee Swamp is always fun. Staying at this cottage makes it easy and pleasant. Thanks
It was very comfortable. Tracey was very supportive. Every time I notified her she was on top of the issue. We had stayed here for at least 5 times from a couple of weeks to 3 months Plan to come back.
We were in town for a few days visiting family. This was a nice place close to town. Recommend it if you’re staying in the area.
Great property for peace
We stayed in the cottage for Railwatch this year and it was the perfect spot for our family of 4. It is a great location, easily accessible to everything in a short walk.
Great place to stay when visiting Folkston and the swamp
We had a blast here. Trains, food, good people, quiet!!! Will return!!!
We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was cozy. The bed was ok. We didn't use the stove, really the kitchen except for the fridge. I did see dishes, and pots and pans. The tv was extremely small for those who watch a lot tv. But for us it was fine. The bedding was old and the pillows definitely need replacing. The thing that bothered me was the bathtub. It drained slow and hard to get in and out of. I was afraid of falling. Definitely not recommended for anyone with mobility issues. The back outdoor light also needs fixed. Area ok. You can walk to Folkston funnel, about a block away. You can not see trains from this house. All in all we would stay here again.
