Town of South Bethany oceanside cottage with screened porch, outdoor shower, W/D

We liked the location. Biggest issue is that the half bath is on the exterior. That was not disclosed. It was 40 degrees outside & there is no heat. It felt like a bait and switch. That is unacquittable and I don't know how that passed code. The bathroom isn't vented either so I can only imagine how hot it is in the summer. Housekeeping also left dustpan on living room=m chair dirty side down and the freezer should be cleaned. There were only 4 hangers. All bedrooms and the coat closet should have hangers.

We enjoyed our stay overall. The perks are towels and bedsheets are provided! It’s at the end of the street, just a short walk to the beach. I loved how it was right next to the WWII watch towers which means the beach wasn’t as busy. The screened in porch is really nice and the fact that it has a washer and dryer is great. It was clean, but there were mens undies left under the bed and in one of the dressers from a previous stay. The coffee maker used cone filters (fyi) and the kitchen could use more items. It’s decorated very cute and the beds were very comfy. The cons are that there isn’t a clothes line to hang your beach ware up. Theres a spicket outside but no hose making it difficult to get the sand off of your beach things. There are no full length mirrors and the small mirrors that are there, are hung really high (I’m 5’5” and I had a hard time). Bring puzzles or games because there aren’t any in there. I’m not complaining, just putting this out there for future visitors! Overall it’s a really nice spot and we will definitely stay there again!

I love the location of this beach cottage. It's a quiet neighborhood (other than being on main rd) and it's close to everything...especially the private beach!!! The house was not as clean as it was on my previous visit - I hope this is rectified.

Overall a wonderful little beach house! The screened in patio was perfect for our young kids to run around in while we got ready to head to the beach. Location was perfect with a 3min walk to the beach and 5min drive to downtown. The house is mostly up to date with nice furnishings and decor. The TV in the living room is a smart TV which was convenient. It's not central AC but the window units did the job and provided their own white noise (if you like that for sleep). I'd say our only complaint would be that there were fruit flies in the kitchen we had to contend with but they were only a minor inconvenience.

We had a good trip and stay at this place. The property was close to the beach, had features that made transitioning from the beach to the after beach day convenient: outdoor shower, screened in porch to keep beach wagon and eat lunch - including a half bathroom, washer dryer, small but functional kitchen and table. We liked the house allowed our dog and was within walking distance of the area on the beach that allowed dogs. The property could benefit from an investment in some parts of the house, and we do wish it had an outdoor grille, but the positives outweighed these issues. Overall, we had a good stay and will consider staying here again in the future.

Such a great rental! Super close to the beach, easy short walking distance. Quiet community and the beach was not crowded! Beds were super comfortable and the place is super roomy. Huge outdoor screened area great for hanging out and playing games. We had a wonderful stay!

Very sweet beach house. The decor is calming and comfortable. We loved the enclosed porch and outside shower.

First time at this cottage and I am renting it again! Very clean, lots of towels, most everything you need except trash bags. Close proximity to the private beach in a lovely little neighborhood. Everything is close by.

The house was cute, very close to the beach, well equipped and furnished in a nice vacationlike way.

Stayed during the off peak season. Neighborhood was quiet, place was clean and exactly as described. The sun porch was an absolutely wonderful place to hang out for mornings and evenings.
